A Quick Escape: Be cool @Bicol
"Work will fulfill your wallet, but travel will fulfill your soul"
Hello everyone! I'm back it's me again "Mj" so for today's video I'm excited to share with you my adventures in Bicol..
Bicol region has 6 provinces and 7 cities and Bicol is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines. Bicol is very rich in culture , history and their tradition. They also have different delacacies which made them more popular and unique.
So what are you waiting for? Join me as we explore the beauty of Bicol region..
I would like to share to you my experience in Bicol. My province is Bicol, and me and my family always going to bicol for a short/long vacation sometimes. We are just take some vacation once a year, so when we are there we always make the best of it, we made sure that we explore and go for some adventures.
We are not rich, but we spend some money too for our short vacation. Because for us vacation is very important. Especially when we are working, sometimes we need to breath, we need to chill and relax. So that is just a reward for all our hardships/hardwork. So I thinks there's nothing wrong with that.
Vacation is our opportunity to refresh our minds, to take it slow , to breath , to relax and have some peace.. it is also our escape from all the stress we've face everyday.
So, here's my experience in Bicol . First spot that we visit is the Barcelona Sorsogon, it is the famous tourist spot also in Sorsogon City, there are many people going to Barcelona to take some pictures/photoshoots and some people just going there to appreciate the beauty of the sea and to smell a fresh air, as you can the sea is color blue and also the sky is very blue, its pretty to capture this kind of view for to keep some memories. You can also try a family picnic over there, or just feel the air and appreciate the moment.
The 2nd spot is Sabang beach, Sabang beach is a white beach that has no entrance fee so you can enjoy it free with your family/friends and relatives. So if you are budget friendly you can try it, and all you have to prepare is your foods.
The third one is SM Sorsogon, it is the same to other branches of SM here , lots of restaurant and food courts also and also some department store which will you may enjoy also and it feels like you are also just in the cities.
The 4th one is the Prieto Diaz Beach it is also a white beach and you can try it for free, so if you want to refresh for a while you only need to is to bring some food and there you go, you will have fun and enjoy the waves of the sea and the fresh air. You can also find some seafoods there, you're enjoying and you also have "pang ulam na" for your family when you go home.
The next one is the Rompeolas Sorsogon, which feels like you're in a Venice grand canal mall, that kind of vibes. Then you will see different food stall and restaurants which will you also really enjoy and perfect for family bonding and friends, and also it very spacious and wide you can run/jogging if you want. There are some area for your kids because they have playgrounds that is very spacious that also your kids will enjoy.
Next is the kusina ala cripa, this is a kind of cozy restaurant and instagramable atmosphere which I think many Gen c and millennials can enjoy especially if you love selfie/taking some pictures. They're food is also good and delicious and affordable.
And the last one that my family's favorite is the Halo Halo of aling Linda, this "kainan" is not a restaurant, it's not also a carinderia. It's just a nippa house that selling halo halo, pansit, chiffon cake etc. their best seller is "Halo-Halo" because their halo halo is affordable and "hindi tinipid" ang kanilang ingredients its complete and generous to put a complete ingredients and also toppings. They have also pancit bato which is binabalik balikan ng mga tao, this is one of their best seller too. We are always going to vacation once a year, and we never forget to go here everytime we take some vacation at Bicol, because for this is our favorite spot .
Those are some tourist spot I'll go and experience with my family.. and this adventures thought us for a while that it's okay to take it slow, to take a breath, to relax and chill and to have some kind peace we and all of us deserved.
So, if you are planning sometimes to take a vacation don't think twice, don't feel some guilt because you deserve it, reward yourself sometimes. Because yourself need it too, take care of yourself, your health, your mind and your peace.
Don't exhaust yourself in work, take a break sometimes, listen to your body and soul. Short/long roadtrips can help you to refresh and have a new start with new perspective , much strongger and for your growth
I hope my story, reminds all of you how important our physical, emotional and mental health. I hope this story reminds you to take check and take care of yourself too priorities your well being, because money is always there to fulfill your wallet or pocket but adventures and experiences can fulfill your soul.
