Un Concierto Inolvidable y Especial en Navidad | An Unforgettable and Special Christmas Concert (ESP-ENG)
We are frivolous or vain??, I highlight this at the beginning because of what is coming next, Welcome to a new post, in my family we have a special being, although an aunt says that we are all special, the fact is that I have a cousin with Down Syndrome and he invited me to his Christmas Concert with the Ensemble of Children with Down Syndrome and Blind People. The show was supposed to start at 2:00 p.m. but it was a little late because not all the artists had arrived.
The show began and the stage was illuminated with a unique energy, the show started with the participation of the ensemble of blind people, some played the cuatro, another guitar, tambourines and maracas, this beginning invaded me with feelings because often the human being is nonconformist and these people see have another vision of life, so I started my post that way many times I consider that we are frivolous we give more importance to the image, fashion, immediate pleasure or superficial fun, without committing to deeper or more meaningful issues. We are capable of doing incredible things that have an impact on us and others, as a saying goes "the example begins at home".
I deviated a little, the second participation was the movement and rhythm ensemble, these kids each one with different conditions, they are the new ones, and it was their first concert, and I am sure they will be better and better, I want to highlight the participation of the teachers, who have an incredible patience and tolerance to guide each one, also, they do not focus on teaching only one instrument, they constantly rotated them to others, I found that incredible, so this concert was not only an exhibition of musical talent, but a vibrant testimony of the beauty of inclusion.
Then came the larger group, which included my cousin who this time played the charrasca, but also played the redoblante, this group was already more coordinated since he has been playing for a long time. In each note, a symphony of diverse skills was woven. The little musicians with Down syndrome shared their contagious enthusiasm, for them the applause and shouts were joy. Most of them were family of the kids, so we all immersed ourselves in a sonorous journey where limitations vanished, leaving space only for human connection. The melodies resonated in our hearts, reminding us that music is a universal language that transcends physical and cognitive barriers.
This concert invites us to reflect on where the true magic and importance lies, that we should value every day and be grateful for what we have and are, as well as, in inclusion, we find true richness and discover that diversity not only enriches our experiences, but also builds bridges that unite hearts in extraordinary ways.
Nos vemos en un proximo post, feliz domingo
