Comerciantes de Domingo en Lanús / Sunday Traders in Lanús

Aunque el comercio informal no está bien visto, por las razones legales y de justicia para quienes pagan impuestos, alquileres y demás, esta es una realidad que difícilmente se puede ocultar.

En algunos casos, suelen colocarse en las veredas con su mercadería, corriendo el riesgo de ser maltratados por los mismos comerciantes o inclusive la policía, pero en algunos casos, la mediación de los gobernantes puede que ayude a nivelar un poco el rígido sistema, de manera de garantizar a todos por igual el derecho al trabajo, estipulado por las Naciones Unidas como algo universal.

Un caso particular que me gusta, es el que se ve en las zonas aledañas a la estación Lanús del tren Roca, ya que pareciera que hay una tregua entre comerciantes legales y los informales, puesto que estos últimos se ubican en las veredas luego de la hora del cierre o los domingos, cuando solo están abiertos los locales de comida.

Además, cuentan con protección policial mientras se encuentran ahí, e inclusive, entre ellos se colaboran con cuidar los puestos, cambiar algún billete por sencillo o para guardar la mercadería al momento de marcharse.

Por lo general, los sábados coinciden negocios legales y los informales en el mismo horario, teniendo además mercadería de distintos tipos, por lo que no puede decirse que se quitan clientes entre sí.

Las calles cerradas hacen de este espacio un boulevard en donde se puede caminar cómodamente, ver desde lejos y acercarse si hay algo de interés.

En mi caso, muchas veces aprovecho solo para ver, ya que en su mayoría los pagos deben hacerse en efectivo, pero dado que acá mucha gente se maneja con billeteras virtuales, estos comerciantes han empezado a aceptarlas.

Nunca había estado un domingo en la noche por la zona, y me sorprendió el nivel de camaradería que tienen entre ellos, sobre todo los comerciantes de origen nigeriano, quienes se colaboran inclusive con mercancía, si no tienen la talla que está buscando el posible cliente, acuden a otro que puede que la tenga, todo para lograr cerrar la venta.

Por ahora, con el cambio de estación, se ven muchas pantuflas, pijamas, camperas (chaquetas) y todo tipo de indumentarias que ayuden con la temporada fría que ya se viene y estará por unos cuantos meses en Argentina.

De hecho, mi hijo y yo quedamos encantados con las pijamas, así que pronto puede que volvamos para comprarlas. No sé si los demás consideren que está mal apoyarlos, pero en mi caso, creo que ayudar a otros emigrantes como yo que buscan su sustento de forma honesta no es algo impropio, ustedes que opinan sobre esto?

In addition, they have police protection while they are there, and they even help each other to look after the stalls, exchange some bills for singles or to store the merchandise when they leave.

In general, on Saturdays, legal and informal businesses coincide at the same time, and they also have different types of merchandise, so it cannot be said that they take customers from each other.

The closed streets make this space a boulevard where you can walk comfortably, see from afar and approach if there is something of interest.

In my case, I often take the opportunity just to look, since most payments must be made in cash, but since many people here are managed with virtual wallets, these merchants have begun to accept them.

I had never been on a Sunday night in the area, and I was surprised by the level of camaraderie among them, especially the Nigerian merchants, who even collaborate with merchandise, if they do not have the size that the potential customer is looking for, they go to another who may have it, all to close the sale.

For now, with the change of season, there are many slippers, pajamas, jackets and all kinds of clothing to help with the cold season that is coming and will be for a few months in Argentina.

In fact, my son and I loved the pajamas, so we may be going back to buy them soon. I don't know if others consider it wrong to support them, but in my case, I think that helping other emigrants like me who are honestly looking for their livelihood is not improper, what do you think about this?
