En casa, a mi hijo menor le encantan los panqueques, y en mi caso, quiero tener un sartén pequeño que me permita hacer pancitos dietéticos sin necesidad de usar el horno, o también panqueques que me resulten un desayuno fácil, así que cuando vi esta tienda que tiene varios artículos para el hogar, sin pensarlo entré a ver precios, pero me llevé una grata sorpresa adicional.

Primeramente, me puse a ver un poco de todo lo que vende esta tienda, pues nunca había entrado en ella, y me antojaba de cada cosita, aunque la idea era buscar la panquequera, pero pues tampoco iba con intención de compra, así que me tomé el tiempo de ver qué más podría anotar en mi lista de deseos.

Lo primero que llamó mi atención fueron estos platos que parecen de cerámica, pero que resultaron ser de un material bastante ligero y muy hermosos como para crear un juego original eligiendo varios diferentes, o haciendo el juego con todos similares.

Cuando me fui al área de ollas y sartenes, me encontré una gran variedad de panquequeras, de diferentes modelos y materiales, que realmente quedé un poco confundida en cuál resulta el más indicado, pues la idea es hacer una buena inversión y que además sea de un material duradero que no produzca daños a largo plazo.

Antes, cualquier ollita funcionaba, pero con los avances y descubrimientos sobre cuáles son tóxicos o van desprendiendo partículas dañinas, hay que estar pendiente de esto, más allá del presupuesto, pues como dicen "lo barato, sale caro" a la larga.

Más allá del tamaño, quiero destacar que los vi de cerámica, granito, vitrocerámica, acero inoxidable y aluminio, todos con material antiadherente, que resulta fundamental para evitar que se peguen los alimentos. En cuanto al precio, realmente la diferencia no es tanta entre uno y otro, por lo que la decisión queda más hacia la corazonada o los gustos en cuanto a colores y tamaños.

De todos, me encantaron los de granito, y de hecho entraron sin miramientos en mi lista de deseos, junto con la batería de ollas, que vi hace un año y no logré comprarlas, pero como el tiempo de Dios es perfecto, la encontré en esta tienda y mucho más económica que en la que vi con anterioridad.

Pero justo antes de salir, veo esta caja con una panquequera eléctrica, que me resultó ideal, pues me sirve para que mi hijo menor haga sus panqueques sin necesidad de depender de mi para usar la cocina, pues ya sabe como hacer la mezcla.

Esta si cuesta un poco más, pero me planificaré para comprarla también y tener ya una batería completa de cocina, que de seguro me durará por muchos años.

First, I looked at everything the shop had to offer, as I had never been there before, and I wanted everything, even though I had only gone in to look for the pancake pan. But I wasn't planning on buying anything, so I took the time to see what else I could add to my wish list.

The first thing that caught my attention were those plates that look like ceramic but turned out to be made of a very light material and are beautiful enough to create an original set by choosing several different ones or making a set with all similar ones.

When I went to the pots and pans section, I found a wide variety of pancake pans, of different models and materials, and I was a little confused about which one was the most suitable, because the idea is to make a good investment and also to choose a durable material that will not cause damage in the long term.

In the past, any pot would do, but with advances and discoveries about which ones are toxic or release harmful particles, you have to be aware of this, beyond the budget, because as they say, ‘cheap is expensive’ in the long run.

Beyond size, I want to point out that I saw ceramic, granite, glass-ceramic, stainless steel and aluminium ones, all with non-stick material, which is essential to prevent food from sticking. As for the price, there really isn't much difference between them, so the decision comes down more to gut feeling or personal taste in terms of colours and sizes.

Of all of them, I loved the granite ones, and in fact they went straight onto my wish list, along with the set of pots and pans that I saw a year ago and didn't manage to buy, but as God's timing is perfect, I found them in this shop and much cheaper than the ones I saw before.

But just before leaving, I saw this box with an electric pancake maker, which was ideal for me, as it allows my youngest son to make his own pancakes without having to rely on me to use the kitchen, since he already knows how to make the batter.

This one costs a little more, but I will plan to buy it as well and have a complete set of cookware, which I am sure will last me for many years.
