What would your reaction be if Spiderman gives you a flyer and invites you to go to the restaurant in the background, or if a gangster from the 20's escorts you in?

This was my experience in the restaurant-pub Punto Límite located in the gastronomic block of the province of Lanús, in which, besides the food, you enjoy seeing all the decoration of the place, because as they say, it is the place where super heroes eat.

I visited the gangster area, and at the entrance, one wall had posters with scenes from movies of this genre, which reminded me of Sunday afternoons, when my father used to watch them on open TV channels, which was the only thing that existed at that time.

Four imposing figures described the types of beers, besides showing part of their arsenal... Right in that area I sat down to have a coffee, and when I turned around, a collection of electric guitars caught my attention. How could rock and gangsters coexist? Things that happen in alternate realities, I guess.

This whole area was quite dark, to give it that touch of mystery, danger and the atmosphere of a rock concert, they even had a disco ball. But what I didn't imagine was who I would meet a little further on.

Almost at the end, I arrived at the “set” of the famous sitcom “Friends”, which included the emblematic chicken with dark glasses, the red umbrella and the retro TV, those that came without control and you had to turn the knob hard to see only 4 or 5 programming offers.

To go up to the bathroom, you had to take the wooden stairs behind the giant guitar, which had at the end, some neon wings that I had seen in many photos, but never in person, so of course, I took the opportunity to take a picture there, which besides being a souvenir, made me see my progress with the weight loss issue.

On my way back, I met a particular watchman, who luckily did not look at me when I photographed him, and another infiltrated character, although he is dressed as a musician, it seems to be Gollum trying to hide to get his “precious” or it could also be a violinist quite taken that resembles him.

Finally, a special mention to the music of the place, because during my stay there, I was able to listen again to an extensive reel of songs from the 80s, which took me back to my teenage years, and was one of the reasons why I extended the time to stay in that place, because not only could you listen to it, but see the concert in which they shared so many artists who musically marked this era.

Esta fue mi experiencia en el restaurant-pub Punto Límite ubicado en la cuadra gastronómica de la provincia de Lanús, en el cual, además de la comida, se disfruta viendo toda la decoración del local, pues tal y como dicen, es el sitio donde comen los súper héroes.

Yo visité la zona de los gánster, y en la entrada, justamente una pared tenía posters con escenas de películas de este género, que me hicieron recordar las tardes de domingo, cuando papá las veía por los canales de TV abierta, que era lo único que existía para entonces.

Cuatro imponentes figuras describían los tipos de cervezas, además de mostrar parte de su arsenal... Justo en esa zona me senté a tomarme un café, y al voltear la mirada, una colección de guitarras eléctricas llamó mi atención. Cómo podían convivir el rock con los gansters? Cosas que pasan en realidades alternas, supongo.

Toda esta zona era bastante oscura, para darle ese toque de misterio, peligro y el ambiente de concierto de rock, pues tenían inclusive una bola disco. Pero lo que no me imaginaba era a quienes encontraría un poco más adelante.

Luego de terminar mi café, decidí explorar un poco más, mientras buscaba el baño, y justo en medio del local, Gene Simmons se presentaba en pleno, a su lado, Michael Jackson convertido en el zombie de triller y más allá Slash, el guitarrista de Guns&Roses, compartiendo "tarima".

Cada figura en este local son a escala del cuerpo humano, por lo que es difícil que no se hagan notar.

Ya casi al fondo, llegué al "set" del famoso sitcom "Friends" en el cual estaba inclusive el emblemático pollo con anteojos oscuros, la sombrilla roja y el televisor retro, esos que venían sin control y había que girar con fuerza la perilla, para ver solo 4 ó 5 ofertas de programación.

Para subir al baño, debías tomar las escaleras de madera detrás de la guitarra gigante, las cuales tenían al final, unas alas de neón que había visto en muchas fotos, pero nunca en persona, así que por supuesto, aproveché para tomarme una foto ahí, que además de quedarme de recuerdo, me hizo ver mis progresos con el tema de la pérdida de peso.

Ya de regreso, me encontré con un particular vigilante, que por suerte no me miró cuando lo fotografié, y otro personaje infiltrado, aunque está vestido como músico, pareciera ser gollum tratando de ocultarse para conseguir su "precious" o también pudiera tratarse de un violinista bastante tomado que se le parezca.

Finalmente, una mención especial a la música del local, pues durante toda mi estadía ahí, logré volver a escuchar un extenso reel de canciones de los años 80, que me trasladaron a mi época de adolescencia, y fue una de las razones por las cuales extendí el tiempo en quedarme en ese lugar, pues no solo la podías escuchar, sino ver el concierto en el cual compartieron tantos artistas que marcaron musicalmente esta época.
