Sporty hoodie and shirt set

Hello dear needleworkers, it's another beautiful and creative day. I hope you're all doing great, here I'll share another satisfying project I did once again and the unique joy it gave me too. This particular project is a mix of comfort and style and it was exciting to work on it.

Well my aunt reached out to me saying there's a fitness event coming up and she needs a short and a sleeveless hoodie top for the workout program.

So yeah I understood the assignment as usual and since she said she needed black but a tiny wee touch of lemon, so I used black material for the whole thing.

I laid down the fabric and cut it using the required measurements and I quickly got to sewing, I started with the hoodie part, and soon finished the hoodie too and it was looking good already.

Then I did the short, I decided to add what we might call cargo pockets by the side of the short but this one with a zipper . The zipper I used made it unique and added another beauty to the short

Soon I was finished with them both and was trying to figure out a design for it, and the design has to be in lemon color so I found this dtf design that the color is lemon and I used it on the short and the top and the both looked nice.

And in the photo below you can see my aunt wearing the outfit in the fitness event day and striking a pose with it.

I really liked how the lemon design stood out against the black, it was simple but very classy and my aunt totally rocked in it that day.
