Shokin day 4 at classic kitchen and Onboarding a New Hiver to SpendHBD

So it was ShoKin Day 4 today, and I was so excited to join other Hivers in supporting a newly listed business in town. @fokusnow had informed us about Classic Kitchen, the latest addition to the Spend HBD Initiative, and we couldn’t wait to check it out.

With 16 of us Hivers at the venue, it was a delightful gathering of familiar faces and new connections. Those present included:

The energy was high as we browsed the items on display and made purchases using our HBD (Hive-Backed Dollars). It’s always inspiring to see the growing adoption of HBD within local businesses—it shows the potential of Hive in bridging the gap between blockchain and everyday transactions.

I also took the opportunity to onboard a new Hive user, @liliangloria, guiding her through the process of setting up her account and understanding how to use HBD for purchases. Seeing her excitement was one of the highlights of my day! She was also able to successfully buy and pay with HBD and I also guided her to write her introduction post as well as her experience with spend hbd.

Classic kitchen was such a beautiful place, with very nice and nearly arranged environment. I love taking pictures of the place and below I'll show you:

We bought varieties of things from the store, some chose to buy food while other went for snacks.
