Favorite season of the year

Many countries are blessed with many seasons of the year, I hear of summer, winter, autumn, spring. Here we only have three seasons which are the Rainy season, Dry season and the Harmattan! The rainy season as the name implies is a time of the year when there is a lot of rainfalls, during the dry season there is less rain. But the harmattan is a different and interesting season, which is also my favorite!

The harmattan season is marked by by cool temperatures, low humidity and a hazy atmosphere caused by the fine dust from the Sahara desert. It is often known as the dry and dusty season. This season starts during lated November to January or early February.
One of the best things I love about the harmattan is the cool mornings and evenings and the early morning fogs. Unlike heat of dry season and the rainy days that ruin plans and leaves my washed clothes wet.

Harmattan is also a season of celebration and togetherness. It coincides with the festive period, and at this time my extended family members, my cousins , nephews and nieces all come together in the village and we all enjoy a great time. The cool weather makes outdoor gatherings more enjoyable, from family meals to village festivals.

It is also during this period that one of my favorite fruits, Star apple (Udara) sprouts and it is everywhere in the village and I enjoy without having to spend a penny to buy it.
I enjoy eating delicious meals that are shared during this period, it is a super amazing time!

The cooler weather of the harmattan season makes outdoor gatherings more enjoyable, during this period most time we stay up all night playing and telling stories with my relatives. It’s a time for creating cherished memories with loved ones.

The Harmattan season makes the landscape look beautiful and rough. The air is hazy because of tiny dust particles from the Sahara Desert. This makes sunrises and sunsets look amazing, with golden colors that make the scenery feel magical. The dry roads and sparse plants have a special charm that is very exciting.

I want to have Udara too if I get a chance. Is it sour or sweet?
