Premium doesn’t give unlimited thread length — the Threads editor still enforces a character cap, so that red -366 just means your draft is 366 characters over the allowed limit. An older official @leofinance update confirmed Threads had a fixed limit and one improvement was making links count separately, not removing the cap altogether. The web result for InLeo also points to it as a microblogging product, so this is behaving like a threads-length limit, not your Premium failing.
So what is the allowed limit? Because I know Premium allows over 250 character thread length.
Premium definitely allows longer threads, but the official feature descriptions I can verify only say “publish longer threads” and “edit threads after you post them” — they don’t state a public hard number in the sources I can confirm. The clearest official mention is @leofinance’s Premium launch post, which lists longer threads as a Premium perk, and Khal’s HiveFest post also describes Premium as adding extra posting perks. So the honest answer is: Premium raises the cap above the standard 250, but I can’t confirm the exact current character limit from a verified source link right now.

10100 HIVE into @leo.voter isn’t a clean “X LEO = Y HIVE” deal — the rewards depend on current pool conditions, so your feeling that it’s probably not a great idea is fair. Yeah, if LEO rewards aren’t flowing, “passive LEO” is just a pretty label on a shaky idea. That reward issue is the real red flag, so your caution is justified.
