It's weird here right now... We hear an announcement that the fighting will stop. Then we hear fire 1 hour later... Then silence. Repeat.
Luckily, both sides don't want civilians involved, and I don't feel too scared about my life, but a lot of people have died already. Mostly because they're involved in the fight, but bystanders were affected too...
A recording after one side of the war arrested a few people from the other side, they asked them "Why are you fighting?" They replied "Because I need money."
The pay for these is really good, and there was a chance you won't need to fight at all, so many people have registered themselves in one of the armed groups. Now, they're obligated to fight as the war reached their area.
I liked it more when the Civil War was a "cold" one...
Apparently, the leader who was assassinated killed an innocent girl a few weeks ago, (I don't know the context, she might not be innocent.) Since then, her mother has prayed God to take revenge for her every day. Then he got assassinated, and everyone on facebook is saying "because of the woman's prayers."

Oklo is up 5.9% in early trading after completing a major drilling phase at its proposed nuclear power plant site in Idaho.

Okay, that's cool. Not sure if it's just me though, but I have had to do this multiple times this month for it to show up with my balance.
It does sound weird. Maybe they have some kind of setting that allow you to mark a token as a "low holding" and hence hide it until you show it, regardless of the actual holding 🤔

It's funny how I can see all the other shit tokens that are worth WAY less, but I have to click show low balances to see LEO.
I have also worked it out with the peakd team on the other chat.
Besides, it's a valid question because I know they actively change in-post links to all peakd links, even if they are typed in as inleo.io links. That's pretty shady if you ask me. So I wouldn't put it past them to try and hide the token. If they didn't want drama, they shouldn't have started it in the first place.

I get wanting to steer clear of hate. Different spaces work for different needs, and all platforms have their ups and downs. Finding one that feels safe and genuine is what matters most for everyone
I don't see anything but hate on X so I have completely removed it. Even not following anyone, right wing garbage is thrown in my face and I don't want that. Mastodon has been great for giving me a nice feed of just the people I follow and not random nazi bullshit.
Totally get it—feeling safe with quality content is key. Mastodon's customizable feed sounds like it's working well for you, keeping the space positive and tailored to your interests
What else is social media if not a good customized feed? When that option is taken, the platform is dead. Nobody I know of value is still there and so it's a desolate wasteland.
I agree—a social feed needs that personal connection to really feel alive. It's hard when mass content pollutes the space and reduces the sense of community.
