Yeah, it’s a smart contract on Arbitrum. They had to use a chain that was compatible with the Maya protocol which is the DEX protocol and their token is CACAO like Thorchain’s token is RUNE. So the pool is actually a Maya pool, not an ARB based pool.

Yeah, I used to trade it using a market maker strategy on the internal dex, then I just went to trading swings. I haven't messed with any of the Hive futures because they are all on exchanges I can't use as a US citizen... Which is stupid, lol.
I am still not that confident when it comes to futures. I just stick with the spot market, where I am more at ease. And besides, I am just into microtrades, doing test trades between 10 and 20 USD. And when that goes wrong, I add when the price drops and then wait.
That's not a bad plan. It's important to know your strengths and weaknesses for sure because too many people pile into trading with leverage without even knowing what it means, lol, just because it's the 'cool' thing to do.

That's like trying to run through a brick wall, lol. Yeah, it’s a smart contract on Arbitrum. They had to use a chain that was compatible with the Maya protocol which is the DEX protocol and their token is CACAO like Thorchain’s token is RUNE. So the pool is actually a Maya pool, not an ARB based pool.

Hive is a weird one and doesn't really follow normal TA patterns and such, so be careful with that. I go more on trend changes.
Thank you for the warning! No problem. As for me, though you might get it wrong when it comes to entry price, as long as the trader is willing to wait for months or even do an averaging down, it is safer to trade HIVE compared to other tokens out there.
Yeah, I used to trade it using a market maker strategy on the internal dex, then I just went to trading swings. I haven't messed with any of the Hive futures because they are all on exchanges I can't use as a US citizen... Which is stupid, lol.
I am still not that confident when it comes to futures. I just stick with the spot market, where I am more at ease. And besides, I am just into microtrades, doing test trades between 10 and 20 USD. And when that goes wrong, I add when the price drops and then wait.
That's not a bad plan. It's important to know your strengths and weaknesses for sure because too many people pile into trading with leverage without even knowing what it means, lol, just because it's the 'cool' thing to do.
I trade leverage to build accounts, then once I hit a certain point, I generally go to spot swing trades. But I have also been doing this for some time, and I trade full time for a living. My main money comes from selling options in the stock market.
Never tried futures. It appears too scary for me. My trading experience is in the Philippine stock market, and so I am used to a big run followed by a big drop. The biggest enemy is our emotions. After a painful experience in 2015, I learned to respect a trading plan.
