Took a little profit yesterday, it was nice. Put into my DEFI fund that I am using as a collateralized credit line to buy miners and the solar to run it.
Aah... that's brilliant! Like a flywheel, you then income from to pay the credit. I always forget lend/borrow is an option for us although I've been using some time ago.
After a couple of spot buys I ended up longing SOL with moderate 3x. Pretty solid as the new $TRUMP is pulling SOL price up along with it.
I have really only been doing my weekly trading for my family hedge fund and catching some swings on my collateral/loan here and there. The cool part of using Aave is that you can trade your collateral up and then trade your loan down.
For example, when I get a BUY signal on my Logical Trading Indicator, I buy WBTC on the collateral side and make sure I am in USDC or USDT on the loaned side.
When I get a sell signal, I trade back to USDT on the collateral side, which earns interest BTW, and then trade to WBTC on the loaned side and ride the price down, basically shorting it. Then when the time comes, I swap back to USDC on the loaned side and now I don't owe as much, lol. I also pay it down with Hive rewards.
Smart moves! Aave is solid platform, are you doing that on Eth main or? Not that familiar with Aave but I remember there was an Polygon option as well... maybe other L2s nowadays as well.
I just use Polygon. It works very well, and is an easy out from Hive on Tribaldex using SWAP.MATIC, so it makes a great L2 or L3 for Hive as well, HAHA.

Any witnesses out there have a good guide on setting up a $HIVE witness node at home and what is needed for maintaining?

Took a little profit yesterday, it was nice. Put into my DEFI fund that I am using as a collateralized credit line to buy miners and the solar to run it.
Aah... that's brilliant! Like a flywheel, you then income from to pay the credit. I always forget lend/borrow is an option for us although I've been using some time ago.
After a couple of spot buys I ended up longing SOL with moderate 3x. Pretty solid as the new $TRUMP is pulling SOL price up along with it.
I have really only been doing my weekly trading for my family hedge fund and catching some swings on my collateral/loan here and there. The cool part of using Aave is that you can trade your collateral up and then trade your loan down.
For example, when I get a BUY signal on my Logical Trading Indicator, I buy WBTC on the collateral side and make sure I am in USDC or USDT on the loaned side.
When I get a sell signal, I trade back to USDT on the collateral side, which earns interest BTW, and then trade to WBTC on the loaned side and ride the price down, basically shorting it. Then when the time comes, I swap back to USDC on the loaned side and now I don't owe as much, lol. I also pay it down with Hive rewards.
Smart moves! Aave is solid platform, are you doing that on Eth main or? Not that familiar with Aave but I remember there was an Polygon option as well... maybe other L2s nowadays as well.
I just use Polygon. It works very well, and is an easy out from Hive on Tribaldex using SWAP.MATIC, so it makes a great L2 or L3 for Hive as well, HAHA.
Oh, yes, I'm too stuck with the habit of using LTC when exiting Hive but need to keep in mind that route.
