Overall price action is remarkably similar to Jan before Trump was inaugurated last time.
If that plays out again then you have the dollar topping and yields coming down after Trump is inaugurated, which is good for our coins.

Thoughts on where we are at right now:
Macro people are worried about less Fed rate cuts in 25 based on some recent economic data. Doesn't seem to be any real proof that inflation rise under Trump in 2025. That didn't happen last time he was in power.
Dollar is insanely strong and yields are high - not the best for risk assets.
BTC has the uncertainty of potential US gov selling (~$6.5B) - it's not clear if this has happened or not yet, so news can quickly clear this up, but it is also adding to the weakness (one last fuck you from the Dems). Tbh this is mostly a nothing burger.
Bitcoin also had a big run from ~60k to 108k, so let's also not forget that.
Overall price action is remarkably similar to Jan before Trump was inaugurated last time.

If that plays out again then you have the dollar topping and yields coming down after Trump is inaugurated, which is good for our coins.
February has been notably strong in post-halving years:
• February 2017 (after July 2016 halving): +26.2%
• February 2021 (after May 2020 halving): +36.2%
Not many data points, but we never have that many past data points in crypto. Historical price action and seasonality still plays a big role in trader/investor decision making.
I think BTC.D has topped, but good/stable BTC PA is still required to see alts have a sustained run, at least larger cap high quality alts.
That being said, there's always an alt szn somewhere. Most recently onchain AI agent coins just had their first big innings, and are correcting now.

If we believe Trump inauguration has now turned into a buy the news then February could be great and make up the bulk of Q1 gains.
First pro BTC and crypto US president is about to be sworn in, and the US regs will be turning friendly towards the industry.
Crypto has never been in a better place for making it easy and accessible for big money to flow into the space over the next year.
Crypto has cemented itself as technology that isn't going away, and simply sees more adoption year on year (stablecoins are the future of payments etc.)
Another interesting data point is that that recent estimates (UBS) suggest there’s about $7 trillion in cash on the sidelines, which they consider to be an all-time high. Very unlikely we have a global markets cycle top with this much cash still on the sidelines and not allocated to anything.

I don't think it makes sense to be bearish crypto looking forward this year.
Can we go lower in January? Yes, probably lean towards it, but I'm no good at short term. Thinking about long positioning here makes more sense.

If they signed up with Keystore I'm not sure you should tell them to immediately start using Keychain (as it's better to let them get some familiarity with Hive first).
But when they are ready, they just copy/paste their Seed Phrase that they saved during the Keystore signup process into Hive Keychain where Keychain asks for "Master Password"
It will then import their Hive Private Keys to Hive Keychain

I almost forgot to share my update of today. It was a productive day for me and most of the time I spent in university and I attended all the lectures also.
