No, I do not have such formula. I even doubt any such exist - probably this is a very complex thing, which depends on many variables.
I do it all practically, first I check my voting power level, make one BOOM, and see what has happened. Then it can be extrapolated to 100% VP, as I think that damn thing is linear. :)

I will try to change my this habit, I know this is not going to change in one day and take time as this is inherent habit. But I guess the meditation and the yoga will surely help in this. while amazon didn't indicate a new edition, i was able to tell by looking at the drastic increase in used offers combined with the drastic drop in used price. this is 6th edition, turns out the 7th edition just came out.
