Learning is mandatory in life and we just can't do without picking up one or two lessons from time to time as we journey through life. These lessons have definitely impacted our lives one or the other.

I will call it fortunate that I have not seen any of my elder or even any elder form my known in the retirement homes, so to be honest I do not have nay experience what happened their or how's the experience when some one is living inside the old age home or the retirement homes. But one of my nephew living abroad and working in a similar profession. The issue is not active people with different interests. The problem is the clear spam that is farming rewards. It's not low value, it's zero value and should be called out and stopped if possible (or at least a way to mute).
Obviously there may be some in between which could be a grey area so we should always give the benefit of the doubt, but it's up to the community to direct things how we would like them to go for the optimal experience and results.
Hive’s thing was always posts with quality writing. FB and X thing is memes (or short posts) used to self identify. Hive can’t grow to their size as it stands. Best to rely on InLeo or Hive as a platform for games.

When I stopped living on Bitcoin in 2016, it was because all three of the above turned to "no." I switched to Dash (which I mainly use to this day), and all three switched to "yes," and the yes has gotten stronger for all of them as the years have gone on.

Are there specific communities you refer to? Most all of them require your own writing rather than AI or outright plagiarism. Most all of them are topic specific and require posts be only about that topic.

We lost the wife of a friend to the cold hands of death today, along with a newborn (The major reason I've not come online since morning).
She was due for birth but encountered issues with natural birth. She was eventually operated on. Unfortunately, both the mother and the baby didn't make it.
We've been working round the clock to ensure that the bodies were released by the hospital management for burial. They hesitated because they said there is an outstanding bill to be settled.
After a long pleading, they agreed to release the bodies on the condition that we will pay tomorrow (about $250). We have buried the deceased according to their religious rites and I've been using my social media to solicit for funds to offset their hospital bills.
My friend is devastated but still able to hold out. I was in his shoes some years back.
What do you mean by "Hive people". I would probably not be here if not for Hive. Leo is L2 app on Hive blockchain, so you can't entirely isolate Leo from Hive
But I've been here since 2017, even before LEO became a thing. The user base is there on hive for Inleo. We just need to have the right approach. I don't think politicking will help things. I just want to enjoy a good app. If Inleo can capture just 50% of the active users on Hive, the traction will be massive. These are users that will bring in new users even without any marketing.
This has nothing to do with any mental gymnastics. I don't get myself involved in blockchain politics. I'm a writer who sees a great project in Hive. There are obvious problems but the potentials are twice the size. There fact that there are problems here and there doesn't mean we have to shit on the entire blockchain.
Inleo is a good product, I will always say it. Two truths can coexist and we don't have to shit on one for the other to be great. As I've said before, I will leave the politics to the large stakeholders.

I've brought in people who just want to invest and are not interested in content creation and none of them regrets their decision to invest so far.
I believe Hive has helped tons of people which is where its strength lies. It may not be a place for a quick cash out. The patient investors will tell you how much ROI they've realized from the platform.

Toxic - yes. I don't know why it has to come to this level. It's not like LEO has been doing extremely better than Hive. I remember picking up a few LEO token when it was around $1. I don't know if you need to go through a KYC to receive USDC, but it is just an example of what can be done with #hivep2p.
USDC is created when depositing 1 USD on Circle's Banks, there is no way you can create a USD in the world without ID yourself, so the trace is mantained in all the USDC movement. Maybe they don't know who you are but they will be able to track every movement that USDC did...
that is how usdt works and other popular stablecoins but it has nothing to do with a p2p.
You don’t have to deposit 1 usd to get usdc or any other stablecoin, you just by it, earn it working or completely a p2p trade.
I understand what p2p is, I'm just pointing that specific USDC can be backtracked to a KYC ID, and if is spent at any time will be also identified.

The issue is not active people with different interests. The problem is the clear spam that is farming rewards. It's not low value, it's zero value and should be called out and stopped if possible (or at least a way to mute).
Obviously there may be some in between which could be a grey area so we should always give the benefit of the doubt, but it's up to the community to direct things how we would like them to go for the optimal experience and results.
When its Zero Value, I totally agree... Just make sure it's a Zero-value first.

People will argue until they're blue in the face about if blockchains can scale, what is or isn't decentralized, privacy, etc.
But in reality, this is all that matters:
Can you practically use it without anyone's permission today?
Can no single entity prevent your ability to use it today?
Is there real evidence that this will improve in the future?
That's it. Nothing else matters!
When I stopped living on Bitcoin in 2016, it was because all three of the above turned to "no." I switched to Dash (which I mainly use to this day), and all three switched to "yes," and the yes has gotten stronger for all of them as the years have gone on.
You'll see people argue that you need to run a node, that this L2 works, that you can't scale without centralization, and all kinds of nonsense.
But refer to these three points above, and everything starts to fall about.
It's (almost) 2025, 2014 arguments don't apply anymore.

I think a shutdown would be good for the country in the long run. Help to clarify and prioritize some things!
One benefit of a government shutdown: we see which services are truly critical. Much of them are like the 75% to 80% of Twitter employees he fired or let go: no adverse impact on the company after they left.
I don't do very much trading but we are in an intention economy and bought $OMG on Pulsechain before the lead up of the election. OMG = Orange Man Good and despite my opinions about the President elect I had a feeling it would have its run and boy did it. I sold half at an 80% gain and added sell side only liquidity and did well.
I started buying again when it hit my original buy price and more as it dipped.
Now I am very bullish on the run up to the inauguration.
OMG Pulsechain price is currently 245PLS and I started rebuying at 440PLS.
I have sell side LP starting at 445 PLS and earn fees from the volatility on the way up above that price.

Buy the dip, you got 3K profit margin before Christmas.
Slightly lower due to the additional % for purchasing through Bisq, but I'm holding this long-term. We should all have another view of life
We lost the wife of a friend to the cold hands of death today, along with a newborn (The major reason I've not come online since morning).
She was due for birth but encountered issues with natural birth. She was eventually operated on. Unfortunately, both the mother and the baby didn't make it.
We've been working round the clock to ensure that the bodies were released by the hospital management for burial. They hesitated because they said there is an outstanding bill to be settled.
After a long pleading, they agreed to release the bodies on the condition that we will pay tomorrow (about $250). We have buried the deceased according to their religious rites and I've been using my social media to solicit for funds to offset their hospital bills.
My friend is devastated but still able to hold out. I was in his shoes some years back.

This has nothing to do with any mental gymnastics. I don't get myself involved in blockchain politics. I'm a writer who sees a great project in Hive. There are obvious problems but the potentials are twice the size. There fact that there are problems here and there doesn't mean we have to shit on the entire blockchain.
Inleo is a good product, I will always say it. Two truths can coexist and we don't have to shit on one for the other to be great. As I've said before, I will leave the politics to the large stakeholders.

I believe Hive has helped tons of people which is where its strength lies. It may not be a place for a quick cash out. The patient investors will tell you how much ROI they've realized from the platform.

Toxic - yes. I don't know why it has to come to this level. It's not like LEO has been doing extremely better than Hive. I remember picking up a few LEO token when it was around $1. Nevertheless, I will never talk shit about any project as long as the team are not giving up on the project. I love the hardwork the Leo team is put in the project and this makes me to be optimistic.
They are either out to just suck money out of the system or are whales and want more while doing a bunch of stupid stuff that wastes money.
