LOH 290 // I Really Want To Be Myself

Sometimes people dream about swapping lives with celebrities, successful businessmen, musicians, or famous actors. But honestly, I don’t think I would want to live another person’s life. Everyone sees the success and fame, but we don’t really know the sacrifices, pain, and hard work they went through to get where they are today. Because of that, I would rather focus on building my own life and becoming the person I truly want to be.

For me, my biggest dream is not really about becoming famous or rich. I just want to become someone who can genuinely help people. If possible, I want to become a philanthropist, someone who can lift others up and make life better for people around me. There are so many people struggling every day with poverty, sickness, lack of food, and even depression. Seeing things like that always makes me feel like the world needs more kindness and support.

I want to be the kind of person that people can rely on during difficult times. Even if I cannot help everyone in the world, helping a few people and changing their lives for the better would mean a lot to me. I believe creating a better and healthier environment starts from little acts of kindness and people caring more about one another.

Another reason I would not want to switch lives with a
famous person is because I want my achievements to come from my own journey. I want to work hard for my dreams, face my own challenges, and grow into the person I am meant to become. I feel there is more happiness in building your own story than living inside someone else’s success.

Of course, I admire people who use their wealth and influence to help humanity, but instead of becoming them, I would rather learn from them and apply those lessons in my own life. I want to create my own path and leave behind something meaningful that people will remember positively as my own.

I think the best life anyone can live is one where they make a difference in the lives of others. That is the kind of life I hope to live someday.
