RE: Agaricaceae family

I'm not entirely sure whether this is a Umbrella Mushroom or not. Typically, the Parasol Mushroom has a much more distinctive snakeskin-like pattern on the stem. It belongs to the mushroom family known as parasol mushrooms and there are several different species within this group. Most of them are edible, but the Parasol Mushroom is generally considered the tastiest of them all. However, one should be careful with the Shaggy umbrella. Although it is often considered edible, it is not recommended for everyone because it tends to accumulate more environmental contaminants and can cause stomach upset in some people. In some countries there is also a poisonous mushroom called the Green-spored Parasol (Chlorophyllum molybdites), which can look very similar to a Parasol Mushroom. It differs by having a greener spore print and gills as it matures. From what I can see in your photo, it does not appear to be that species. However, I do not know whether this mushroom occurs in your country.
Personally, the Parasol Mushroom is one of my favorite edible mushrooms and in my opinion, one of the most delicious wild mushrooms you can find.

I'm not too sure if this mushroom is edible, but it has a very strong odor.
