We present our report corresponding to the period of June. As usual at @la-colmena, we maintain the commitment to share our results and updates with full transparency with the community.
Cierre definitivo de nuestro nodo de testigo
Informamos a la comunidad que el pasado 10 de julio nuestro nodo de testigo @la-colmena firmó su último bloque (bloque 108.003.720).
Hace un tiempo, tras un período de pausa, decidimos reactivar el nodo con la intención de estructurarlo para que fuese autosustentable. Sin embargo, las condiciones actuales del mercado y la cotización del token no permitieron alcanzar ese equilibrio, por lo que hemos tomado la decisión de efectuar el cierre definitivo del servidor.
Agradecemos sinceramente a cada una de las personas y proyectos que confiaron en nuestra labor y nos apoyaron con su voto de testigo durante este tiempo. Les invitamos a redirigir ese respaldo a otros testigos activos que continúan aportando al fortalecimiento de la infraestructura de Hive.
Final Closure of Our Witness Node
We inform the community that on July 10th, our witness node @la-colmena signed its last block (block 108,003,720).
Some time ago, after a pause, we decided to reactivate the node with the intention of making it self-sustainable. However, current market conditions and the token price did not allow us to reach that balance, so we have made the decision to permanently shut down the server.
We sincerely thank every person and project who trusted our work and supported us with their witness vote during this time. We invite you to redirect that support to other active witnesses who continue contributing to Hive's infrastructure.
El compromiso de curación continúa
El cierre del nodo de testigo no detiene nuestro trabajo en la cadena. Nuestro enfoque principal sigue firme en los pilares comunitarios de siempre:
- Curación activa: Mantenemos el recorrido por la comunidad hispana para evaluar y respaldar el contenido de calidad.
- Plataforma educativa: Los recursos y tutoriales en la-colmena.me a través de @colmeneros continúan disponibles para todos.
- Iniciativa #HPUD: Seguimos impulsando el Hive Power Up Day cada mes para fomentar el crecimiento orgánico de las cuentas.
Seguimos presentes, aportando y acompañando a los creadores de contenido que hacen vida en la red.
Curation Commitment Continues
Closing the witness node does not stop our on-chain work. Our main focus remains firm on our usual community pillars:
- Active Curation: We continue browsing the Hispanic community to evaluate and support quality content.
- Educational Platform: The resources and tutorials at la-colmena.me through @colmeneros remain available to everyone.
- #HPUD Initiative: We continue promoting the Hive Power Up Day each month to encourage organic account growth.
We remain present, contributing, and supporting content creators across the network.

Realmente lamento que no se alcanzara el equilibrio del nodo testigo, La Colmena fue un testigo impulsor importante de la comunidad hispana cuando me enteré de Hive (lo sigue siendo desde la comunidad que han formado a su alrededor), felicidades por el trabajo que continúan haciendo por Hive.
