No hay lugar como el hogar, si no me equivoco esa frase decía Dorothy en la película de El Mago de OZ, una frase muy cierta y que no siempre valoramos.

Esa frase la valoro más, ya que a media semana comencé con mucho dolor abdominal, y no es por presumir, pero tengo mucha tolerancia al dolor, por lo que no quise ir al médico, muy mal por mi porque a medida que avanzaba la noche me sentía peor, hasta que el dolor era insoportable decidí ir al clínica, me trataron muy bien, pero y ahí no podían hacerme los estudios que requería, así que me enviaron al hospital, fueron varias horas de espera, tomas de sangre, ultrasonidos y consultas con el área de cirugía general, en verdad moría de dolor, hasta que el diagnóstico fue positivo, apendicitis aguda, hace varios años había pasado por un procedimiento semejante es una colecistectomía laparoscópica, déjenme decirles que igual el dolor es intenso pero en esa ocasión fue una cirugía programada, en esta fue algo que no esperaba, hasta llegué a dudar que en realidad fuera el apéndice, me prepararon para cirugía.
Me sentía hasta cierto punto tranquila, por que conozco el procedimiento, pero cabía la posibilidad de que hubiera alguna complicación y la cirugía terminara siendo abierta.

Algo que me dejó mas tranquila es que el cirujano que me operó lo conozco ya que también trabaja en el hospital donde laboro, he asistido en algunas cirugías de el, así que había más confianza.

Por fin terminó la cirugía y volví de anestesia, no sentía dolor mas que el de la cirugía, era mucho menor, casi imperceptible, al medio día pasó la visita médica y me informaron que había sido difícil, estuvo a punto de convertirse en cirugía abierta.

Estuve en observación casi dos días, que fueron los mas largos que había tenido desde hace mucho, no me pesaba el dolor ya que soy bastante resistente a el, mas que nada era estar con mi familia, en mi casa, de ahí recordé la frase No Hay Lugar Como el Hogar, una frase muy cierta y que puedo aplicar a esta situación.

Durante todo este proceso @gr33nm4ster y @sweetgemstone estuvieron muy pendientes de mi, @curvymosquito83 se quedó en la casa ayudando en lo que podía, hicieron un muy buen equipo.

Muchas veces nos desentendemos de nosotros mismos, no cuidamos lo mas importante, la salud, lo que saco de todo esto es mi mejor consejo, debemos cuidarnos un poco mas para poder cuidar a los nuestros, gracias a Dios salí muy bien, claro con una recuperación de casi un mes y los mas importante: vida, no esperemos que no haya remedio para querer hacer algo.

I value that phrase more, because in the middle of the week I started with a lot of abdominal pain, and not to brag, but I have a high tolerance to pain, so I did not want to go to the doctor, very bad for me because as the night progressed I felt worse, until the pain was unbearable I decided to go to the clinic, they treated me very well, but there they could not do the studies I needed, so they sent me to the hospital, there were several hours of waiting, blood tests, ultrasounds and consultations with the general surgery area, so they sent me to the hospital, I was really dying of pain, until the diagnosis was positive, acute appendicitis, several years ago I had gone through a similar procedure is a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, let me tell you that the pain is still intense but on that occasion it was a scheduled surgery, this was something I did not expect, I even doubted that it was really the appendix, they prepared me for surgery.
I felt calm to a certain extent, because I know the procedure, but there was a possibility that there would be some complication and the surgery would end up being open.

Something that made me feel calmer was that I knew the surgeon who operated on me, since he also works at the hospital where I work, I have assisted in some of his surgeries, so there was more confidence.

Finally the surgery was over and I came back from anesthesia, I felt no pain other than that of the surgery, it was much less, almost imperceptible, at noon the doctor's visit passed and they informed me that it had been difficult, it was about to become open surgery.

I was under observation for almost two days, which were the longest I had had for a long time, the pain did not weigh me down as I am quite resistant to it, more than anything was to be with my family, at home, then I remembered the phrase There's No Place Like Home, a very true phrase and that I can apply to this situation.

During all this process @gr33nm4ster and @sweetgemstone were very attentive to me, @curvymosquito83 stayed in the house helping where he could, they made a very good team.

Many times we neglect ourselves, we do not take care of the most important thing, health, what I get from all this is my best advice, we must take care of ourselves a little more to take care of our own, thank God I came out very well, of course with a recovery of almost a month and the most important: life, do not expect that there is no remedy to want to do something.
