Thanks to God once again for this wonderful teaching coming from Brother Eli Soriano, who addresses the issue of patterning faith, marriage, and relation with spouse and how what ought to be done and what not to be part of the respect, to honoring the path we are dedicated to in place to abide by the word and be of good faith, which define what we are up to and what our aim is as children of God here on earth.
Hence, in regards to the book of Matthew 6:16–17, which talks about remaining steadfast in all we are doing, which may be inclined toward the spiritual and physical aspects of life, this part of the scripture that teaches about remaining firm in fasting, which is all about seeking for God prior to any other thing that is of man.
So therefore, in the lesson today, Brother Eli emphasized more on marriage, on how it has to be managed, and on honor in order to retain purity, which has to flow within the lines of faithfulness, as he gave reference to Hebrew 13:4, where we are taught to be upholders of marriage should be sanctity over adultery known with sexual immorality.
According to Matthew 5:28, let us understand that any one who went contrary to looking at a woman lustfully is guilty of adultery, which implies that such an individual committed adultery with his mind corrupted by the evil path that does not glorify the name of God. Hence, the big lesson here is that we ought to be guarded based on this teaching and as much as our intention.
In line with 2 Peter 2:14, which stretches more emphasis on letting us understand the eyes that are filled with adultery will remain in sin, which implies that there is a tendency for such an individual to sin on different occasions, hence the big lesson here for everyone to be careful and take heed lest he fall for sinful acts, and as much to be mindful of who are your leaders, friends, and as much as those surrounding you, because there is a very strong tendency that they can influence you to act at any time due to what you see.
So therefore, as for the husband, we are taught to be much more considerate over how we desire our wives to be based on how they exposed their bodies, which implies that our wives have to cover their body while in public to avoid side attraction, which tends to mislead some other men. Hence, we are given so much love and respect in our marriage, which is applicable for the spouse, who has to be united with a spirit of honor and understanding that leads a family.
So as we retain unity in our marriage, let us not forget what the Bible said in the book of Leviticus 2:14, where we are taught to offer the best as much as we can to God in place of gratitude and as much as honor.

● 1 Timothy 5:8 teaches us to care for our family as we do for ourselves, which signifies dedication while we reflect the faith we stand upon.
● 1 Corinthians 11:5–9 teaches us to respect our culture as much as our spiritual life, which has to do with respecting and honoring our faith.
● Ephesians 5:28 teaches us about having love within ourselves as spouses, where the husband has to love and cherish his wives as much as the wife does the same in return.
● 1 Peter 3:1 teaches us that we ought to be of good conduct, which influences those within our reach, so therefore, let's be of the word of God, brethren.
