Is prayer enough?

Matthew 7:7, James 2:17

It is my dear pleasure to be with the word of God, which was taught and brought to our notice by Brother Eli, who led us through this teaching over what it takes to pray and at the same time do the needful, which is all about acting on it, hence as much as I understood from the lesson, I will share across here.

In the book of Matthew 7:7, it teaches some things that we have to consider and learn from it, as the passage of this scripture teaches that ever since we have a father, there is a need for us to ask by seeking and knocking for his favor, which is to be given unto us, hence on that notice, we are taught not to pray only but to act on it as well.

Hence regards to the scriptural verse in Matthew 7:7 emphasis on the need for prayer and the proactive need for us to pursue what we desire, which we have to start with prayer and retain it by acting on it and getting an answer by remaining persistent for the results to surface, and this makes it clear that praying alone is not enough to get our problem solved.

So therefore, there are a few other points that I have to bring into play in this caption surrounding prayer, which has to do with the following:.

Prayer without work is regarded as dead, hence within the verse of James 2:17, it entails that any faith without proactive action is regarded as nothing but dead, which implies that our prayer, which is aligned with our faith, has to be accompanied with our action.

Hence within the God creation, God has made man to be an agency, which gave man the ability to take decisions and manage his affairs, which has to be taking action that influences his circumstances, and hence the prayer here is to lead, guide, and as much as to intervene, while our actions we take define our willingness over our participation, which is in line to get an answered prayer or result.

In some other way, responsibility and stewardship define our stewardship through our talent and as much as our time, which are known as the basics resources that God has given man to manage in place to work with our prayer that have to be answered by the action and persistent we need to put and get results that made it possible with prayer and our actions, which are honor to God.

● Hence, with here we tend to experience guidance and as much wisdom, which is mainly to expose us to the divine wisdom that has to go with instructions that ensure that our actions are aligned with the word of God.

● Having prayer helps us a lot in fortifying our spiritual life, hence this entails us that when we act, prayer leads us with the motivation that keeps us believing and moving forward.

● Through prayer, it allows us to have a closed partnership and relationship with our father, which entails that we have our role to play in place of being submissive to God for his grace to push us to actualize our dreams.

● Hence, while we pray with our faith in action, which indicates our true belief in God's ability to change our situation while we get positive results from God.
