Yeah, Rick disappeared in season 9 through Jarvis and was never seen all through the remaining season and in 10, Micheone went looking for him and she was never seen also till the final season. It was their spin-off that brought the two together.
Maggie and Negan, you just need to watch 10 and 11 and see how Negan changed for good. But the season two of their spin-off is bringing back the Old Negan as we saw in the teaser.

I know there was a time Morgan joined Rick and the team, I can't remember the season but he left. He seemed to be a man of his own. I think he was still dealing with the reality of the death of his son, Duane, not sure anyway.

I never saw Negan changing for good although he displayed some good acts but then, he needed a close watch because he knew how to play on people's minds. It's good to know he became good but... Negan can be unpredictable, lol. He is well calculated.
