A better lifestyle in the society
Greetings!
One of the greatest wishes of a normal human being is to live in a society that's full of peace and harmony. No one likes a society that's full of troubles, where people are running helter-skelter to dodge a fight or trouble. Everyone prefers a situation where they can freely walk in the street, greeted by people with genuine smiles. I've lived in such an environment, and I know how lovely it is. It's unfortunately that the environment where I live now is the opposite because it's damn competitive.
In this article, I'll be sharing some DOs and DON'Ts in an environment or society to make living better.
DOs
Always Support Community Initiatives:
Using the neighborhood I'm currently residing in as an example, we often have issues with electricity. Anytime there's damage, the government hardly comes to our rescue, so we (the residents of the street) either fix it ourselves or keep waiting for eternity for the government to intervene.
Whenever this happens, some people in the street come out and plead for everyone to contribute money so we can fix the electricity ourselves. I contribute because I love to see electricity restored, but many people in the street refuse to pay, perhaps because they have their own generators or solar systems. While their reasons might be fair to some extent, I believe that since the street is for everyone, they should still contribute, even if it's not the full amount, to encourage others to donate too...but I think also that availability of electricity in a community help to soften tjr hard life. For sure some charges of services that use electricity will reduce.
When people back out of community initiatives, it divides the unity and peace in such a setting. If someone refuses to support what's being initiated in the society, it discourages the initiators, making them feel like they're not doing the right thing. The same issue occurs in the compound where I live. We share light bills, but some tenants don't like to pay even though they're using the electricity. That's very bad.
Foster a Sense of Belonging:
Personally, I don't like attending parties, especially the ones I'm not directly invited to. However, whenever I'm invited by anyone in the neighborhood, I make sure to attend. I want to show them that I care and that I belong to their lives. In a community where people are there for one another, love and peace reign.
It would be very bad if someone's child died and no one in the neighborhood came out to sympathize with the victim. That's unacceptable.
DON'Ts
Do Not Foster Segregation:
In every sector, there are cliques, and this is very evident in neighborhoods. It usually begins with someone initiating division.
To encourage a peaceful and harmonious environment, one shouldn't initiate segregation in any form. If it starts even on a small scale, it can quickly grow into a separate community within the neighborhood.

This is a perfect explanation. I will put this into practice. Thank you for sharing this with us
That's how life is, you'll still find some people who won't cooperate no matter how much you plead with them, imagine something that's for the betterment of the community and still they refuse to support.
you are so right boss, all the do's and don't must be respected.
