New Wallet Framework for LeoDex and Inleo

avatar

Hey, everyone! With the creation of the Keystore sign-up option, we introduced the Dash partnership and opened the door to other blockchains as well. However, we've been working on a new wallet framework that supports options like Phantom Wallet, Ctrl, Vultisig, MetaMask, and more, making Hive more accessible to the broader crypto community.

In this clip:

  • 15 to 20 new wallet options for sign-up
  • Open-sourcing Inleo's onboarding methods
  • Making APIs available

We've built a new wallet framework that includes 15 to 20 wallets, starting with Phantom Wallet, which will first launch on LeoDex before rolling out to Inleo.

These new options function similarly to LeoAuth, ensuring that the Active Key isn’t exposed during regular activity. Instead, wallet transactions must be signed individually. While this adds an extra step, the trade-off is increased security.

This framework will also be available to the Hive ecosystem as part of our open-source products. We'll provide APIs so other UIs can seamlessly integrate it. If they do, new users signing up through Inleo will be able to log in to other Hive apps using their preferred method, without needing to install an extension like Keychain right away, improving the user experience and retention rate.

With the arrival of Phantom Wallet, does that mean we'll soon see a bridge with Solana?

Impressive development. The INLEO team is really working hard to network Hive to other blockchains. I hope these receive the deserving supports.
