In this video, I share a clip that is going viral from the All-In Pod where Chamath is talking about the need for decentralized, private money. From the words he uses in this clip, it is clear to me that he has been Z-pilled.
Whether or not you think ZEC will rise in price in the future, the technology is extremely important.
In a society that is increasingly digitized, the need for a private digital money will only continue to rise.
One thing I love about what Chamath said is that he gave a non-illicit example of why private transactions are important. Most people from the outside looking in tend to think of private transactions as inherently illicit.
This is simply not true and one great example is the one Chamath used: what if your insurance company could instantly track that you're buying sugary cereals and decide to raise your health insurance premiums?
In this clip, I talk about what Chamath said and how I think ZEC solves the problems he outlined. I also give my take on whether or not I think Chamath is actually talking about ZEC specifically.

Chamath endorses & has promoted all kinds of centralized stuff his investor buddies are in on. I wouldn’t take this as a positive at all.
The best for privacy is Monero. It would be great if Leodex offered the option to obtain Monero, perhaps a Leo/Monero pool?

STOPThis is kind of wild to hear. I never imagined privacy coins surviving but now it feels like they are only going to grow. I do feel hesitant about what kind of nefarious stuff can go on with privacy coins but we also need ways to counter the ever stretching arm of those who want to control everything
This is why I am all in on COTI due to it leading the privacy narrative with it's tech. ZEC is very limited in what it offers and why it will not be adopted by institutions.
I've been invested in COTI since 2021. The ecosystem is incredibly strong with solid integrations across multiple blockchains, especially with Cardano (ADA). I believe COTI's ecosystem will keep growing massively in the coming years. Great choice 🚀 And I also like Crypto and Coffee 💗
Big congrats to the Zcash community. After all the challenges and crackdowns on privacy-focused coins from Governments and CEXs. Privacy coins have faced tough suppression, but this could mark a turning point. Keep building 💪
