Finally, My Mom Got to Visit the Orchid Shops in Ormoc City

Happy Saturday Hivers!

My mom was really excited when she found out that I had discovered an orchid shop in Ormoc City. She immediately told me that we should visit it once we had some extra money. That's how excited she gets whenever orchids are involved.

A few days after I discovered the orchid shop, I went back to Ormoc with my mom. She had been carefully saving her money just so she could buy some orchids. Seeing her so happy and excited made the trip even more worthwhile.

When we arrived, there were so many orchids displayed in every shop. They came in different varieties, making the place even more beautiful. I could clearly see the excitement on my mom's face. The first thing she did was check the displays in every shop one by one.

After looking around, she became confused about what to buy because there were so many orchids that she liked. However, orchids are quite expensive, with prices ranging from around PHP 800 to PHP 1,500, and her budget was limited. Because of that, she had a hard time deciding which one to take home.

Aside from orchids, she also enjoyed looking at the anthuriums. In fact, she had already mentioned to me before that she wanted to start collecting anthuriums as well. With so many beautiful plants around, choosing just a few was not an easy task for her.

It took my mom quite a while to make her choice. She kept chatting with the shopkeepers, telling them that she used to have many orchids before. In fact, some of the orchids on display were varieties she once owned. Unfortunately, they eventually died because of the salty water in our area. I could see a hint of sadness on her face as she remembered those plants.

After spending some time looking around, she finally made her decision. She chose orchid varieties that were not commonly found in our area, especially those with large and beautiful petals. Each orchid cost PHP 1,200, and she also bought four pots of anthuriums.

Despite taking a long time to choose, I think she was happy with her purchases. After all, it is always exciting to bring home new plants, especially when they are something you have been wanting for a long time.

On our way home, I could see from my mom's face that she was happy and excited. Seeing her smile made me happy too. Since plants and orchids are what truly bring her joy, I will always support her hobby and passion.

It was a simple trip, but it turned into a memorable day for both of us. Sometimes, seeing our loved ones happy is more than enough to make the day special.
