Another Abundant Harvest from Our Garden
Happy Thursday Hivers!
I really love our garden. Even though we don't have a large number of vegetable plants, each one produces an incredible amount of harvest. Because of their abundance, we end up harvesting far more vegetables than we can consume.
We grow a variety of vegetables, but only a few plants of each kind since our main goal is simply to provide fresh produce for our family's daily consumption. However, each plant is so productive that we often have more than enough. Instead of letting the extra harvest go to waste, we sell them so others can enjoy fresh, homegrown vegetables as well.

Last week, we spent a few days in Cebu to attend my brother's birthday celebration. When we returned to Leyte earlier this week, we were amazed by how much our vegetable plants had grown while we were away. They were loaded with fresh produce, and it felt like they had been waiting for us to come home.
From Monday until this morning, we have been harvesting vegetables every single day, and each day's harvest has been just as abundant. It's truly incredible to see how productive our garden has become.
I have mentioned before that we only have four lady's finger (okra) plants, yet they have produced an impressive amount of vegetables this season. Despite having only a few plants, they continue to reward us with an abundant harvest, proving that even a small garden can provide more than enough when properly cared for.

Our two bitter gourd (ampalaya) plants may not produce as heavily as the okra, but they continue to bear fruit consistently. Every time we check on them, there are always a few more bitter gourds ready to be harvested. We are grateful that even with just two plants, they provide us with a steady supply.

Our eggplants have also been incredibly productive. They haven't stopped bearing fruit, and we've already harvested from them many times. It's amazing how generous these plants have been, continuously rewarding us with fresh vegetables throughout the season. Our small garden never fails to surprise us with its abundance.

That's the latest update from our garden harvest. It truly brings us so much joy to be able to harvest fresh vegetables almost every day. Watching our plants continue to grow and produce an abundance of fresh, healthy food is both rewarding and fulfilling.
Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
