A Quiet Escape: Exploring Inopacan Town

Inopacan is located next to my mother’s hometown, just a 10-minute drive away. This place is known for its affordable vegetables, thanks to the many mountains surrounding the area. Fresh produce is brought straight from the farms and displayed right here in town.Today, let me take you on a tour of the town of Inopacan.

If you’re coming from Hindang and heading to Inopacan, it’s very easy to tell when you’ve already arrived in Inopacan because of their large parish church, which is located right along the highway. Even if you’re not yet familiar with the area and you’re just new there, you can easily recognize it by the big church with its green color.

Actually, this church is also quite old. It was simply restored and repainted, which is why it now looks so vibrant and alive.

When it comes to transportation, it isn’t really difficult since there are plenty of buses, and there are also multicabs available. The challenge in this area, however, is that once it gets late in the evening, there are no more rides available after around 9:00 PM.

If you plan to visit and end up staying late, it’s really better to bring your own vehicle or motorcycle. That’s what we usually do, especially when we have dinner there. Their baywalk has many restaurants, so there are times when my family agrees to have dinner there, particularly during special occasions.

During our visit to Inopacan, there were only a few people at the public market. The market is usually busy early in the morning or in the afternoon, but by around 10:00 in the morning, it already becomes quiet.

Their municipal hall is located close to the baywalk, but it isn’t very far from the highway. In fact, we simply walked from the highway to the municipal hall. It is also near the parish church.

At the back of the municipal hall is the baywalk, where you can find restaurants, parks, and a coffee shop.

The restaurants and coffee shops here aren’t really high-end, but the food is still delicious. This municipality isn’t very big, but if you just want to have coffee and relax, the place can definitely offer that.

My mom has a favorite restaurant here, and every time we plan to eat out, this is always the place she wants to go. The food is really delicious too. While waiting for your order, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the sea. The environment is incredibly peaceful and stunning, you can enjoy yourself even just by staring at the scenery.

Their park also has various outdoor gym equipment spread throughout the area. That’s why in the afternoons, many people come here to exercise, both the young and the elderly.

This place truly has a lot of hidden gems. This time, I can finally start exploring it since I’ll be staying in my mother’s hometown, and I’m really excited about it.
