Meeting again with my old Susys Cookies

Life is a box of surprises. Sometimes you stumble upon things, memories or people that generate a big sigh of surprise, the kind that makes your throat go cold and your eyes sparkle again. Well that's my weekend experience that I'm here to share with you today.

Hello hello, it's my first time in this Weekend Experiences community and I want to tell you that I'm on my Christmas holidays at my parents' house and the three of us together don't waste time to go out to eat, go for a walk and this weekend we went to the Sambil Shopping Centre to spend some time together, look at the shops, eat and enjoy with the family.

Walking down one of the aisles, I found one of the city's biscuit franchises that I loved when I was still at university, I remember that I always ran to buy them after class, they were divine and there were always various types of biscuits, with chocolate sprinkles, vanilla, marbled, with guava candy and the best thing was that they melted in your mouth. They were a real treat for me.

Seeing the shop was a big surprise for me. Although I visit the city every year, I had never come across one of these shops, the ones I knew had closed and this is a new franchise, where you can also sit and enjoy yourself in the place.

The biscuits are still the same rich and varied. When I tasted them I not only remembered how good they were, I also remembered many good times at university. Because there are flavours that accompany us in good moments of our life and we don't even realise it. That day I bit into the biscuit and it was like stepping into a time machine.
