Therapeutic Hibiscus Drink

Hi friends, greetings. I bring to you my special therapeutic hibiscus flower drink with earthy flavors. This drink is refreshing and very nutritional as it helps to reduce blood sugars, it is anti-inflammatory, contains antioxidants, and helps to reduce menstrual cramps.

This drink is unsweetened and prepared with natural flavors, hence its unique taste. Sugar, honey, dates, or fresh juice like pineapple and watermelon can be added to sweeten the drink whenever you want to have it. This will help retain its freshness for as long as possible.

INGREDIENTS
▪︎ Hibiscus Flowers 1 large cup
▪︎ Ginger 400g
▪︎ Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
▪︎ Cloves 3 tablespoons
▪︎ Water 3 liters

PROCESSING
First wash the hibiscus flower and place in a large pot with 3 liters of water and set to cook.

While it is cooking, wash ginger and chop into smaller sizes for more effect. Do not remove the skin, cook together with the ginger skin. Add cinnamon and cloves and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes. Turn off when it starts to boil and leave it to cool and then seive out the flower.

It should be smooth like this and free from particles. For the best result, I recommend you seive it twice and then bottled before refrigerating.

Our refreshing drink is ready. Now package and store in the fridge or freezer. I and my family enjoyed the drink when it was chilled with our meal. It is more tasty and refreshing when you refrigerate before drinking.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY.
TRY THIS RECIPE, AND YOU WOULD LOVE IT.
MANY THANKS FROM @KACHY2022 FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT ❤️❤️❤️

It is definitely a drink that is best enjoyed when it is cold.

I was a big fan of hibiscus tea until I had acid in my throat, which made me stop taking it... But, I really liked the taste, so maybe I could try your recipe... Maybe it wouldn't be so bad...

In any case, thanks for sharing it with us! I bet it's tasty, and we all know how healthy it is!

Thanks. Sorry about the acid in your throat. To make it less acidic, reduce the ginger and pineapple. You can sweeten with watermelon 🍉 or dates. That should suit you better.

This is really amazing…. I remember some weeks back that I had a sip and paint planned for people in my city, I literally had to plan making something exactly like this and my junior sister is actually so good at it. She did justice to it just the same way you did…. All naturals and all tasting great.
I wish to taste from this ❤️

Thanks. At least, you have your sister to make it for you. It's a natural drink and a good substitute for carbonated drinks.
