Nutritional tigernut drink

Hi friends, greetings from me to you. I'm here with another nutritional drink that can also be a good substitute for milk. This is a very fresh #plantbased drink that the whole family can enjoy in various forms.

Only three main ingredients is required for this special drink. For more flavor, I go with five ingredients.

INGREDIENTS
▪︎ Tigernut 2.5kg
▪︎ dates 500g
▪︎ ginger 200g
▪︎ coconut (optional)
▪︎ cloves (optional)

PROCESSING
First is to remove dirts from tigernut and wash properly, soak for two days, it will double in size on the second night. Make sure to wash every morning and night for a fresher taste.

The next step is to open dates and take out the seeds, soak for two days in the fridge to keep it fresh.

Next is to blend. A very good blender is required to extract all the milk. After bleeding, use a seive or cheese cloth to separate chaff from milk and store milk in an airtight container. Store in the fridge immediately for a fresher taste.

Our delicious drink is ready to enjoy. For best results I recommend to blend with very cold water or ice, this helps maintain the natural taste all through the process.
I used a total of 12pcs satchet water for 2.5kg of tigernut and some ice. I bottled the drinks and stored them in the refrigerator.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY.
TRY THIS RECIPE AND YOU WOULD LOVE IT.
MANY THANKS FROM @KACHY2022 FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT ❤️❤️❤️

Was it the dry one you soaked for two days? It really came out so well and it's a healthy drink.

Yes, it's the dry one. It will double in size after two days. I prefer to buy and soak the dry one myself because most times, the fresh ones are sour and don't taste fresh at all.

That's a new lesson I learned today, the sour taste is not a good experience at all.

This really looks delicious from here. I also prefer the soak dried tigernut. I just have a thing for liquid food, they are just too yummy and easy to swallow. Awesome recipe @kachy2022.

Please don't finish it o. Save some for me me. Well done Sis.🥰

Yeah you should, you will enjoy it. Note that you will need a very strong blender to extract the juice
