Hello friends and loyal followers of this wonderful ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨: This must be one of the most emotional Fridays, seeing the happiness and enthusiasm of my granddaughter Abigail while they put together the Christmas tree with my wife filled me with happiness. Esta ha sido un año de muchos cambios, a diferencias de otros años tuvimos una primavera lluviosa, y como todos saben, el agua de lluvia en una bendición para el crecimiento de los hongos. Sin temor a equivocarme, este 2023 ha sido el mejor año para el hallazgo de hongos, encontramos variedades que el año anterior no habían, y fue hermoso y muy divertido ir descubriendo nuevas especies de esta maravilloso ¨mundo¨ de los ¨hongos¨

This has been a year of many changes, unlike other years we had a rainy spring, and as everyone knows, rainwater is a blessing for the growth of fungi. Varios días de esta semana ha llovido, tanto fue la humedad del ambiente que encontramos hongos en lugares que jamás pensamos que podrían crecer. Esta es una variedad de hongo conocido con el nombre de ¨Psilocybe¨ ¨cubensis¨: y necesitan de estiércol para su desarrollo, es evidente que algún caballo contribuyo con este hongo. Las lluvias han contribuido a que no tuviéramos que caminar mucho para dar con este ejemplar, lo encontramos a solo uno cien metros de casa en la vereda de un vecino. No me quiero imaginar la cara de la dueña de casa al salir a su puerta y ver el estiércol de caballo lleno de hongos

Esta otra variedad también que se desarrolla en el pasto y necesita de sedimentos de estiércol para su crecimiento. Su nombre científico es ¨Protostropharia¨ ¨semiglobata¨: . Este ejemplar lo descubrimos en el fondo de nuestro hogar, luego de un día lluvioso y horas después de la salida del sol. Un tipo de hongo muy pequeño, y no se desarrolla mucho más que estos, al parecer tiene una vida muy corta, dado que para la tarde ya se habían desimanado

Ambas especies pudimos identificar con ¨Google¨¨Lens¨: una herramienta de la web que funciona muy bien para este tipo de identificación. La primera especie de hongos las tomamos con el teléfono de mi esposa ¨Motoe7Plus¨el resto lo hicimos con nuestra cámara ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨
