An Ama-ZING 2024!

Okay, so it’s been more than a while since I shared any update about my Zing progress and majorly, what has been happening in the Zing world.

Before I get into my progress, there are a few updates that I’d like to share. One is that if you’re a good graphic designer and you haven’t heard about the Holozing Background Contest, then you should do so because I think there are about twenty hours left. The prizes accruing to those who take the first place is more than mouth-watering and I certainly do regret not having the devices to at least try out for the contest. But there will be other opportunities, so let’s see.

Things like hair colour, hairstyle, skin tone, facial expressions, eye lens scanners, jewellery, glasses, headwear, clothing and even different backgrounds for the profile.

If you want to know more about the Healers, you can just check here but I’m quoting the part that interests me the most. After seeing the first batch of the water, earth and light series, I didn’t think there would be any more. But this was rather refreshing to see. Cutesie sizes of the other healers.

Everything is being prepared for kicking off 2024 with a big bang so the fact that there are going to be accessories sounds too fun, especially if you’re the kind that loves dress-up games. I think the fun part of it is that the healers are going to be rarities for the most part. So, you’d most likely have a particular headgear costing a good degree higher than an outfit, and so on. It’s pretty exciting when you think about it so it’s something to look forward to.

Bringing us to the backpacks, where we have the rare varieties and the common ones for all the healers. I’m particularly curious to see how it would go. Would it cost a great deal to buy a rarity or you would only get it if you reach a particular level in the game? Or both. We’ll have to wait and see.

I guess that’s all for the updates so I’ll be moving to my progress now. So far I’ve been able to stake 3.5K Zing, I love the fact that the APR hasn’t reduced too much, even though a lot of people have jumped in. Still, a few more people do not know about Liquidity Pools so the APR for that is still the highest. I suggest that if you want to know more, you can refer to this post where I tried to explain what it’s all about and how it relates to our Zing journey.

In the beginning, I was purchasing Zing in small quantities. I realized that I needed to accumulate more before the game started. But now, it’s not as easy as before. Because a lot of people want to accumulate the Zing Token, that means there aren’t a lot of sellers. ZING isn’t going down by any means like other layer two tokens so that makes it quite hard to buy more if you had a goal. Like me, who wanted to reach the 5K Milestone. So, the sure means for now to acquire Zing tokens is through delegation, staking, POSH balance and of course, Liquidity Pool.

I’m still claiming ZING tokens as regularly as I can. I’ve missed a few days which is rather sad. But I’m waiting to see what accrues to those with a perfect score, i.e. those who have been claiming since the month began and the rest of us who have missed a few days. The year is almost over so I’m glad 2024 is opening up to a year of countless possibilities and many opportunities.
