Splinterlands: Winning because my opponent electrified his monsters
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I saw a battle where I took advantage of the ruleset.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are No Pain. This means that all monsters gain the Pain Forge ability. There is also 24 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for dragon.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marlai Singariel | 6 | Summoner | +1 Magic |
| Thanalorian Scion | 5 | 1st | Void Armor |
| Daigendark Surveyor | 2 | 2nd | Magic Reflect |
| Daarg Deadblast | 7 | 3rd | Swiftness and Weapons Training |
| Conclave Artificer | 4 | 4th | |
| Total Mana: | 24 |
My summoner is Marlai Singariel for the +1 magic. I have Thanalorian Scion as my tank. After that is two nonattacking monsters with Daarg in the middle. Daarg gives swiftness and weapons training so those nonattacking monsters also gain magic damage.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. I am relying on the magic damage to wipe out my opponent while Scion tanks the hits.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match is my win. My opponent has their damage all spread out, and my opponent also has Electrify, so their Scion will be on the following turn without taking that much damage.
Round 4

A few round later, my opponent is down to 3 monsters while I still have all of mine. At this point, my opponent will lose his scion at the start of the turn, and the rest of the lineup can't do much after that.

I won later that round.
Conclusion
The battle did go exactly as planned. I went with a good magic lineup, and my opponent did as well. However, I did not use a monster with electrify so the rest of my damage dealers could stay alive.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

I think some ability can actually do more damage than good, and this is why I think it takes special skills to actually master... Great win, wow.
I love an aggressive lineup with Electrify but sometimes straight forward damage at a single target is all you need. Great battle strategy from you here.
