Splinterlands: Using Runemancer Florre as a damage dealer for the first time in a while

Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Runemancer Florre.

Featured cards

Runemancer Florre is an Earth splinter that costs 13 mana. This card doesn't have any abilities, but it does have both magic and ranged damage. It's also quite tanky and fast. It's too bad that this card isn't in Modern unless there is an outsider ruleset or I would use it more.

Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Outsider. This means that one additional wild unit can be used. There is also 97 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for water or death.

Total Mana:67

The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. My archon is Underboss Fabino for the +2 melee damage. My tank is Mantaroth with shield and armored strike. My backup tank is Pallus with reach and flying. After that is Quilliun Legionary with thorns, followed by Lord Thanalor with amplify. Finally, I have Runemancer Florre and Fenmoor Wood Troll. It's packed with tons of high mana monsters, and all of them have decent health and damage.

Round 1

round 1.png
At first glance, I think that this match is my win. My opponent has far less damage than me, and I have tankier monsters as well.

Round 4

round 4.png
A few rounds later, my opponent has 2 monsters left while I have 5. I have plenty of damage, and I have the speed advantage, so this is an easy win as I can't miss.

I won the match later that round.

Conclusion

The battle this time did go exactly as planned. I just had the stronger lineup, and there wasn't anything my opponent could do. Runemancer Florre was such an amazing damage dealer in the back as it could deal up to 4 damage per turn.

You can see my entire match here.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

That armoured strike is honestly underrated, I think that was why you won the game. It's honestly a game changer and a great tank too.
