Splinterlands: Time Bandit's Cleanse is great in Global Warming
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Time Bandit.
Featured cards

Time Bandit is an Earth splinter that costs 8 mana. This splinter starts with cleanse, and leveling this card increases its stats. I have this card at level 2, and I use it based on the ruleset.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Backlast and Global Warming. This means that all monsters start off burned, and any missed attacks also deal 2 damage to the attacker. There is also 25 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for fire, life, and death.
This ruleset is interesting because it's of backlash and burn, making outlasting your opponent a good strategy.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aurelia | 6 | Summoner | +1 Health |
| Dread Tafarian | 9 | 1st | Heal |
| Time Bandit | 8 | 2nd | Cleanse |
| Total Mana: | 23 |
My summoner is Aurelia for the +1 health. My tank is Dread Tafarian with heal. My backup tank is Time Bandit with Cleanse.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. Dread is good because that heal ability will keep it alive longer if my opponent doesn't have that much damage. At the same time, Time Bandit will cleanse off the burn, and this givs my frontmost monster a chance to survive another hit.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can go either way. If I can keep my monsters alive long enough, I can win this match. My opponent does have more monsters and more damage than me so I am unsure who will win.
Round 3

A few rounds later, both my opponent and I are down to 1 monster left. I do win because the burn will kill off his last monster.

I won that match later that round.
Conclusion
The battle this time went exactly as planned. In this type of battle, I prefer to outlast my opponent, and it worked out. That cleansed saved me some damage from the burn, and I believe that is why I ended up winning the match.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

Time Bandit is a good utility card with the cleanse ability and can also be a frontline unit for the team

I like the strategy of using Dread Tafarian because of its heal ability to outlast the opponent in the succeeding rounds

I haven't used Ecency in a long time, so I think it's better to save the points for someone else.
