Splinterlands: Sometimes speed is all you need
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I saw a battle where I won because I used the correct archon.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Arcane Dampening and Aim True. This means all monsters gain the void ability, and monsters can't miss. There is also 35 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for water or death.
This is an interesting fight because nothing can miss, and it only makes sense to use melee or ranged monsters.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barthalamas | 6 | Summoner | +1 speed |
| Frankarsgard | 7 | 1st | |
| Chaos Furybringer | 6 | 2nd | Reach |
| Sturdy Axe Warden | 8 | 3rd | |
| A'lan Musketeer | 8 | 4th | Double Strike |
| Total Mana: | 35 |
My summoner is Barthalamas for +1 speed. I have Frankarsgard as my tank. After that is Chaos Furybringer as my backup tank with reach. Finally, I have two ranged damage dealers, and A'lan also has double strike.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. I will be relying on the increased speed to wipe out my opponent before he wipes me out. The combination of all my monsters can easily kill off a few monsters if my opponent doesn't have taunt.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match is my win. My opponent may have a tank with heal, but my monsters will be faster than his, and they also can't miss. My opponent just doesn't seemt o have enough damage to overcome that speed advantage.
Round 3

A few rounds later, I have lost one monster, but my opponent is down 2 monsters. There is no way for my opponent to overcome the speed advantage.

I won later that round.
Conclusion
The battle did go exactly as planned. Relying on speed was the best choice because we couldn't miss, and magic monsters are not as effective. I was able to move before my opponent, and this gave me a great advantage over my opponent. There were times when some of his monsters could not attack before they died.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

You had that speed advantage, and the your had very powerful range cards as well. Well-done. Good game too. Using cards with lots of health helps a lot
