Splinterlands: Scales of Justice is great in Keep Your Distance
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Scales of Justice.
Featured cards

Scales of Justice is a fire monster that costs 5 mana. It only has the dodge and untrainable ability. Leveling this card only gives it higher stats.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Keep Your Distance and Explosive Weaponry. This means that no melee monsters can be used, and all monsters gain the blast ability. There is also 30 mana available, and I can use fire splinter.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barthalamas | 6 | Summoner | +1 speed |
| Scales of Justice | 5 | 1st | Dodge |
| Agniavan Salamander | 8 | 2nd | Blast |
| A'lan Musketeer | 8 | 3rd | Double Strike |
| Total Mana: | 27 |
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. My archon is Barthalamas for the +1 speed. My tank is Scales of Justice with dodge because dodging is more effective due to explosive weaponry ruleset. After that is my backup tank Agniavan Salamander. A'lan Musketeer is my last monster and my main damage dealer.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can go either way. If I can dodge enough attacks, I win, but I will lose otherwise because my opponent has more damage.
Round 3

A few rounds later, my opponent has 1 monster left while I have 2 of mine. My opponent can't attack, so this is my win.

I won the match later that round.
Conclusion
The battle this time did go exactly as planned. Scales of Justice was the winning factor as dodging a few attacks let me win. There wasn't much to say since my opponent focused on damage while I focused on staying alive.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

I use it as my tank, if I am presenting a fire elements line up. Kudos warrior 👏.
I think the lineup was quite similar, the selected frontline unit makes the difference
The range card with the double strike is why you actually won this game. Although it was a really close call, but you managed to actually pull it off.
