Splinterlands: Power of three makes monsters of mana cost 3 more powerful

Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a battle where I saw a new ruleset.

Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Power of Three, Ferocity, and High Five. This means that monsters with a mana cost of 3 gain an extra attack, all monsters gain the fury ability, and up to five monsters can be used. There is also 36 mana available, and I can use any splinter.

Living Lava71stShield
Chimney Wallstop102ndReach and Bloodlust
Djinn Inferni73rdGiant Killer
Sarius34thBloodlust

Total Mana:36

My summoner is Eternan Brune for the -2 armor. I have Living Lava as my tank with shield. After that is Chimney Wallstop as my backup tank with reach and bloodlust. Following that is Djinn Inferni with Giant killer, and finally two ranged monsters with a mana cost of 3 to take advantage of the ruleset.

Round 1

round 1.png
At first glance, I think that I have the advantage in this match due to my tank. My opponent will take quite a bit of time to kill off that tank, and I have a decent amount of damage to kill off monsters.

Round 4

round 4.png
A few rounds later, my opponent has 1 monster while I have only lost 1 monster. There is no way for my opponent to turn this around because my opponent can't even attack anymore

I won later that round.

Conclusion

The battle did go exactly as planned. It was an interesting ruleset to see, and it made both of my 3 mana monsters a beast. One of them was stacking up health through life leech, and the other was stacking bloodlust.

You can see my entire match here.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

Sarius is a great damage dealer, and it was even better due to the ruleset.
