Splinterlands: I got my first battle challenge in Lux's Favor.

A few weeks ago, I talked about the new free daily Lux's Favor here. Once a day, you can spin the wheel for free, and all it gives is some cosmetics. These include skins for cards, and items you can add to your avatar. Some of which is done by purchasing them from the Spark Shop. As you check in more often, you can move up your tier and earn bonus sparks.

Battle Challenge

It's my first time getting a battle challenge, and it looks like we get some spark for just hitting this. At the same time, you can do a battle challenge for some extra rewards.

As you can see below, it looks like there are tiers to the challenges, and for each challenge, you are given the opponent's lineup in advance. To note, all cards are at the maximum level so you are not at a disadvantage over your opponent. I can see the challenges getting harder over time, as this one doesn't even have any rulesets. At the bottom, it mentions that there are harder challenges once I clear the 7 normal challenges.

Once you win, you get some Spark as a reward. Unfortunately, you don't get the Lux's Favor bonus, but I still think it's nice to have some extra Spark. Also, you can't get the 2nd battle challenge right away, so it might rely on you rolling the battle challenges again in the future.

Conclusion

I think it's fairly interesting to see them mix things up in the daily spin. The challenges are quite easy right now, but they can get harder in the future. The spark doesn't net you anything other than cosmetics, so you can always ignore it if you aren't interested. However, I think it brings a new change of pace to things.
