Splinterlands Engagement Challenge: AVATARS & EXEMPLARS

Every week there is a Splinterlands challenge that can be found in this week's post. I also encourage Splinterlands players to partake in the challenge because they get to learn about the game. In this week's challenge, we talk about Avatars and Exemplars.
Avatars

There is an announcement post for the new Avatars and Exemplars here, and it is a new addition to the game. Avatars are your new identity in the game. You can access it by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the webpage. The avatar is what others will see you as, and the exemplar is the new customized card based on your avatar.

The first option on the left is to edit your avatar. There are quite a few options available. I only changed my outfit so it doesn't look like the default option.
Exemplar

The next thing is the Exemplar. This is turning your own avatar into a card. I decided to make myself a mage with Execute at the base level. I do plan to level the card later, so my stats might change, but I am happy with what I have. I think that a magic monster with execute is powerful in many scenarios as a damage dealer. In this page, you can change your splinter, abilities, and mana cost. I don't have enough points to make my card that strong, so I don't know if I will use it much at the current mana cost. Overall, I think it would be quite nice when you levle up that card level enough because 20 points doesn't seem to get you too far.

You can level up your Exemplar to get more skill points using Glint. I don't recall the exact amount, but I believe I saw someone say that it costs over 3 million Glint to fully max out that level. For now, I just leveled it to level 2 because it only costs 1,000 Glint to do that upgrade.

If you want to change your Exemplar, you must use a Capacity Flux so you should find what you want first. In the end, after seeing this screen, I decided to hold off on confirming it. I will wait for the content that lets you use it, so that I don't have to buy a flux.
Badges

The last thing is badges. It shows stats for your accounts so far. I am missing a few diffeerent badges, but there isn't much I can do for that. I do think that I did well so far, but I just don't have 2.5 million collection power, 250k staked SPS, or 50 plots of land.
Conclusion and thoughts
Overall, it seems like quite a large change. I like the customization you can do towards your avatars, and the exemplars seem like a good addition. It does look like they hinted at more things to do with exemplars in the future. However, as they are right now, they are limited in their uses to some tournaments. I do think that it can be a very nice addition to the game, but I am worried about the balance because people who have leveled up that card quite a bit can have a huge advantage. It does depend on how they add things, but I am just worried about the card being too overpowered due to all the stats and abilities you can add.
What do you think about the new Avatars and Exemplars?

not bad, i made my avatar too before guild brawl end :D
It was so fun to after years make own avatar and not pay anything for it!
It's fun to make, but I decided not to confirm it because the new content that uses it is not out yet. I don't think its worth rushing, and then having to buy an extra item to reset.
