Splinterlands: Chimney Wallstop is a beast in fights

Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Chimney Wallstop.

Featured cards

Chimney Wallstop is a fire splinter that costs 10 mana. This splinter starts with bloodlust and reach. It learns repair at level 5, strengthen at level 9, and leveling it does increase its stats. In Brawls, I use this card quite often, but I don't use it outside of that much because this is a gladiator.

Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Broken Arrows and Ferocity. This means that no ranged monsters can be usd and all monsters gain the fury ability. There is also 60 mana available, and I can use every splinter except water, death, and dragon.

The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. My archon is Eternan Brune for the -2 armor. My tank is Living Lava with shield. My backup tank is Chimney Wallstop as my backup tank. Ifrit Rising has charge, Sand Worm has Sneak, and Djinn Inferni has giant killer. Finally, I have Ferox Defender for the protect. With this, my damage dealers can just focus on damage.

Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can go either way, but I have the advantage. My opponent's damage is quite spread out, so I should be able to deal quite a bit of damage before my monsters start to die. I am glad that I have a Giant Killer to wipe out that Bear.

Round 4

A round later, my opponent is down to just 1 monster left, while I still have 4 of mine. At this point, there is no chance for my opponent because my magic monster will kill off my opponent even if he dodges a few melee attacks.

I won the match later that round.

Conclusion

The battle this time did go exactly as planned. My opponent spread out their damage too much, and this gave my damage dealers the perfect chance to focus down my opponent. Chimney Wallstop stacked up quite a bit of bloodlust and that made the fight even easier as it was even less likely to miss after that.
