Splinterlands 57th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. Most of my fights happened on the last few days of the season as I was in a rush to move up before the season ended.

Season Rewards

I ended up with 2,269 Glint for last season, which is slightly more than what I was getting before. I did less Frontier fights this time around, and I did my Modern fights a few days before the end to avoid rushing the battles on the last day.

I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. The rewards are a bit worse than last time, but still decent as I got a few cards.

I also had a nice gold foil common from one of my Frontier packs.

I decided to also not use my glint this time around as I save for Epic or Legendary cards. It just doesn't seem worth it since I have enough copies to get to my current archon level.

Gladius Packs

I got 6 packs this time around, and the opening seems to be 2 more than last time. I did get 1 epic and 2 legendary cards, so this was an amazing opening.

I was able to upgrade my Larissa Kerato to level 3. It gains the dispel ability, and it's already looking like a strong card, but it has low health.

I was able to upgrade my Tatiana Blayde to level 2. It gains one health and the dodge ability. So it's looking like a decent card to use now.

SPS

My SPS rewards were higher than last time. My brawl rewards have gone up slightly.

I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 108.209 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference of a few more days removed on top.

Conclusion

This season was good this time around because I was able to get a nice clean win streak in modern again this season. Also, the gladius case opening was amazing because getting 2 legendaries in 2 packs is quite rare.
