Splinterlands 50th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. Most of my fights happened on the last day of the season as I was in a rush to move up before the season ends.

Season Rewards

I ended up with 484 Glint for last season, which is slightly less than what I was getting before. I didn't start as early as last time, but I managed to get the fights in during the last few days.

I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. This time, it was just as bad as last time. It is just some common cards this time around again.

No jackpot cards this time, but only 1 gold foil common card this time around. It was worse than last time.

I went for two rare cards this time around because I don't have enough Glint for an epic.

Gladius Packs

I got 5 packs this time around, and the opening seems to be just as bad as last time. No gold foil, epic or legendary cards.

I was able to upgrade my Krash Wanderford to level 7. It gains the return fire ability, but loses 1 health. It's too bad that I probably won't be using this card because my archons aren't high enough level.

SPS

My SPS rewards were lower than last time. I am not sure why the brawls were so high last time around, but this is around the usual amount. I do think that I did my report a week after the start of the season, so things might be off.

I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 105.788 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference of a few more days removed on top.

Conclusion

This season was bad. I didn't earn as much glint, and my openings were kind of bad. Even the frontier opening was bad, and all the numbers were a bit bad. I am hoping my next season is better.
