Splinterlands 45th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS
The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. I didn't do any fights in Modern until the last two days, and it was a bit easier to reach Silver this time around.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 3,505 Glint for last season, which is slightly more than what I was getting before. I managed to get my fights in before the last few days, so it was less stressful.
I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. There weren't many cards, but I got my first legendary scroll.
I went for two rare cards this time around. I don't have a few of the rare cards yet, and I want to leave somee buffer so I can get some more epics a few seasons down the line.
Gladius Packs
I got 4 packs this time around, and the opening seems slightly worst than last time. There was only 1 epic card.
I was able to upgrade Edith Emberstar to level 3. This gave the card the cleanse ability. It's too bad that my summoners in Modern can't play this card, and I can't use it in Brawls due to my placement in gold foil frays. This is a fairly good card because of its strong damage.
SPS
My SPS rewards were lower than last time. It's because life kept me busy, and I did miss a chance to submit my brawl fights on one of the rounds.
I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 123.257 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.
Conclusion
This season had its good sides and bad sides. It's rough because I had trouble getting to Silver league in Modern. I did get one epic card from my league advancement chests, and I did get some good luck in my gladius case openings. It's too bad that I missed out on one Brawl, but I just have to be more careful next time.

Congrats on getting Edith Emberstar to Level 3! Even if you can't use her in your current gold foil frays, that Cleanse ability is a life-saver for keeping your tank alive in high mana poison battles.
It's a good ability, but since it's a common foil version, I won't be using it that often.

I am playing less in Modern, and more in Frontier. The SPS rewards aren't very high as I only earn a few SPS. I earn more SPS from brawls compared to Modern.
