Rising Star Weekly Giveaway #209 and Zemuria Grand Odyssey 19999-XXXXX

Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I also talk about an OST track that I like. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway. I chose a game album that came out earlier this week for some of the games that I played in the past.

Zemuria Grand Odyssey 19999-XXXXX

Zemuria Grand Odyssey 19999- XXXXX is an album of tracks that appear in the Trials (Kiseki) series. Jindo remastered 14 different tracks from the various games into this album. There are way too many tracks for me to go over, so I decided to choose the track that I liked the most from the Liberl Arc (Sky), Crossbell (Zero/Azure), and Erebonia (Cold Steel). I have posted about half of the tracks on the album in the past, so I thought it would be better this way. I decided to hold off on the Calvard Arc (Daybreak/Horizon) because I haven't completed all the Dawn games yet, and Horizon has yet to come out in English.

The first track would have to be Overdosing Heavenly Bliss for the Liberl Arc. It's been a long time, but this track was talked about in Giveaway 138. It's one of the most memorable tracks from me in the Sky Arc, and I absolutely love this track. It's so epic and it's one of my top 10 boss music from the Kiseki Series. I think I like the version from this album over the original due to the arrangement. I have also included the original version below the one from the album if you want to listen to it.

The second track would have to be Azure Destiny for the Crossbell Arc. It's been a long time, but this track was talked about in Giveaway 142. As the final boss music in Azure, it's so memorable. They changed the name slightly, but I still love the track. They removed the choir and added other instruments though, so I feel that is missing a bit. Overall, I still think that the original ranks a bit better to me, but I don't think this version is bad at all.

The third track would have to be Radiant Hope for the Erebonia Arc. It's hasn't been as long for this one, but this track was talked about in Giveaway 176. This is the track that plays during the credits for Cold Steel 4. Truly, the end of a saga, and it brings back memories just by listening to this track. I always think back to the end of the Erebonia Arc, and its huge roster of characters, with lots of other people from the other arcs showing up. I think this arranged version is better than the original.

Do you like any of these tracks? If so, why?

I gained 293k STARBITS over the past week. I was active quite a bit, and I did well this week. The lowest day netted me around 30 STARBITS, 20k from missions, and 10k from the millionaire mission. I also got the season musician, but I have yet to get a duplicate. I have also mixed in a few seasonal missions and was lucky to get one instrument.

Current Ranking

My rank went down by a few ranks. I didn't play as much as last week, and it looks like I didn't get too many unique cards either. I guess I'll see where things go next week as the new month should open up some new cards in packs.

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

  1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
  2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
  3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
  4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
  5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
  6. If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
  7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
  8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
  9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
  10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
  11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
