Rising Star Weekly Giveaway #166 and Lift-off!
Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I also talk about an OST track that I like. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway.
Lift-off!
Lift-off! is an OST that plays in Trials of Cold Steel III when the protagonist Rean summons his mech Valimar. I like the rhythm and the melody inside the arrangement. Whenever Rean does do that, he shouts "Heed my call, Valimar the Ashen Knight!" so it's quite memorable. I do think that he relies a bit too much on the Divine Knight but the situations are quite serious at that point.
This track reminds me the most about Valimar. Valimar is one of the seven Divine Knights and they have been a part of Erebonian history for centuries. These Divine Knights only show up when there is a huge conflict going on. In Cold Steel IV, there is a big fight between all of the Divine Knights to decide a final winner and combine all of their powers together. I won't spoil why it happens or why they want to go back towards one source though. The image is from the wiki page for Valimar.
Do you like any of these tracks? If so, why?

Current Status
I played a bit more than last week. I opened a lot more packs and I finally got the seasonal card. After doing some of the seasonal mission, I also got one of the instruments as well.
Current Ranking
I played more than last week but it wasn't as much as I would like. The seasonal mission messed me up a bit because I found myself not running the longer missions and opting for that mission instead.

Tips (source)
I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.
- Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
- Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
- Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
- Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
- If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
- If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
- Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards- Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
- When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
- Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋
We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.
For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
