Rising Star Weekly Giveaway #120 and Trials into Reverie battle music

Here is my weekly status and giveaway. Like usual, I am just doing some missions at night because I am busy during the day. I was able to do some missions during the day during the week but not as often as I would like. Work has been keeping me busy lately. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway.

Trials into Reverie Battle Music

Just like last week, I will be talking about music in Trials into Reverie. This game is not meant to be played as the first game in the series though and focuses more as a conclusion to the existing arcs in the game. In any case, the first battle music I liked was the battle music for Lloyd's route called Stand Up Again and Again. It's what I expected from the Crossbell team.

Besides this, my favorite battle music theme is the boss music Heavy Violet March. After that would be another boss theme music The Perfect Steel of Zero for the mech battles in the main game. I almost forgot that you had these mech battles because it didn't happen until the end of the game. As for what happens there, I won't spoil anything in case you play the game.

Another good theme that I liked was Challenger Invigorated but it's too bad that it's not part of the main story and it's a part of the daydreams you get in the game. So you don't really get to hear this one much and it's part of the tournament daydream.

The last music track that I wanted to note was this track that appears after the final boss fights for the game and before the post-game. I didn't get to this point last week in the game so I wanted to note that I really like this track. It's the perfect send-off to end the series in the game and the events.

There are probably a lot more tracks that I liked from the game but honestly, it just didn't step up as much compared to the previous games in the series. Some of the tracks just didn't make sense or weren't as good as I thought they would be. There are still tracks that I liked but I don't know how much I would listen to them compared to the ones from Sky, Zero/Azure, or Cold Steel.

Current Status

My earnings were about 138k or so starbits again this week. There were two epic cards from my pack openings.

Current Stats

I got my stats and estimated collection value using the discord bot. I also saw a nice little bot to see my current collection value in Rising Star. The pizza bot didn't respond so I went with the stats bot.

Current Ranking

My rank is down 5 spots from last week and I realized that I didn't open packs this month for the new cards. So I did mine last night and I expect my rank to recover a bit next week.

Tips (source)

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
6. If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
