My Hive Goals for 2026 Week #2

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2026 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track, and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. It's the second week so far, and there is plenty of time left in the year. Also, for everyone's note, the Saturday Savers has ended, but the Slothly Savers Club has started in its place.

Progress

Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking a bit worse than last week, and it all adds up over time.

HP

I earned 99 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. The numbers are looking decent. I can't compare with last week as it was my yearly goals, and I didn't note the difference. The price of Hive is still quite low, so we are earning more HP during this time period.

HBD

I am not sure how much HBD I earned this week. I'll know for sure next week because I haven't touch my HBD for the past few weeks. I did get my interest though. For now, I'll add that HBD to my savings, but I'll probably sell HBD for liquid hive once that interest is enough. I still have quite a bit of liquid Hive from the previous year though, and I am not sure where I will use that.

Conclusion

My progress is looking decent for now. I need around 2% per week, so this week added a bit of a buffer for myself. HBD is ahead of the rest right now because I got the interest, and I also staked the HBD that I earned over the past few weeks. I plan on staking HBD until its close enough for the interest to cover the rest. It all adds up over time, and I am on track towards completing my goals by the end of the year. It's a fairly good result so far, and I hope to keep up this consistency. I expect my HBD goal to be reached soon enough, so the rest after that should go into getting more liquid Hive.
