Brawl Report #163 - A decent brawl, and the brawl rewards are up when the inactive frays are filled

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I did see the result screen, but it was late and I forgot to take screenshots.

Brawl fights

I won 2 fights, and lost the other 5. I also had 1 free wins from guilds not submitting fights, so that would be 4 wins and 4 losses. I saw this from the guild page, but I forgot to screenshot. Below is an idea of the match and a few thoughts about it, but it was a decent brawl this time around.

You can find the first match here. I won this match because I had the stronger lineup. The level and speed advantage is kind of hard to deal with. It doesn't help that my opponent had heal and repair.

You can find the second match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. Yodin Zaku is just too powerful

You can find the third match here. I won this match because I had the stronger lineup. The opportunity monsters did a good job of taking out that backline and reducing the damage that I would take.

You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. The headwinds reduced my damage, and the healing made it hard to take out monsters.

You can find the fifth match here. I won this match because I had the stronger lineup. I had the speed advantage, and that helped me kill off monsters. The poison also helped me a bit to take out some of that backline.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. I was using melee monsters but my opponent had demoralize, and that reduced my damage. I couldn't do much against the rest and the Thorns, which is hard to fight against.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. The magic monsters were hard to fight against, and the summoner only made them stronger.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern Brawl, and I got 3 wins and 5 losses. I did decent this time, and my guild did quite well as well. It's better than the bad brawl we got last time. One of the remaining officers assigned the inactives into the empty frays, and those free wins helped out.

Conclusion

The brawl was decent for me, and the rewards do add up. It's more or less inline with what I got from my previous brawls, as my guild is constantly in that 6th to 8th place range lately. I did decent on my fights, and I am hoping my next brawl is just as good or better.
